I can not explain how a Hilton property could let my experience be so awful. I booked a room here for 3 nights and paid $796.79 in advance and in full. A few days before my stay I got an email saying that the property was under renovation so I might be inconvenienced by construction noise between 9am and 5pm. I didn't love hearing that but I already paid for the trip and had planned events with friends there, so I went. The first morning I went into the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth, use the toilet, etc. but there was no water! I went to the lobby with my toothbrush and asked if there was a restroom with a sink in the lobby I could use. They said sorry, no the water is shut off for the entire hotel until 5 pm. Again... whaaat? So l had to drive to a gas station to use the bathroom. So gross. If only I had booked a nice hotel room somewhere, right? I had an event to go to at 5 pm that evening so I had to go without having had a shower. I did stop at a fast food restaurant to use their sink to brush my teeth again. The folks at the front desk were nice and almost guaranteed that Hilton properties would give me a refund for at least one night. They urged me to call and explain and let Hilton make it right with me. So when I got home I did just that. After a week I received an email stating that my room was paid in full in advance under a ”no refunds” policy. Honestly, I thought the ”no refund” policy was aimed at last minute cancellations, not the room being uninhabitable. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with Hilton for the awful experience and the awful customer service resolution I was given. Do better Hilton.

Americas Best Value Inn at Central Valley

Central Valley|0.96km from city centre
DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY (ROOM 116) Every surface looked like it was sprayed and wiped down with MILK. Floors had not been vacuumed. Lingering smell of previous smokers made the room stink bad. Desk had food crumbs dried and crusted stuck to surface. (?) HUMAN FLUID STAIN on bed cover. Pillows looked older than I am. Remote control was groady. Light fixtures where dusty and sticky. Bathroom seemed clean (surprisingly). Flooring is sinking and broken at bathroom entrance. Slept in my winter coat with gloves and socks ON TOP of second sheet. Did NOT sleep under covers, but my coat was warm enough. Didn't want my bare skin to touch any of the bedding. Slept with lights on just in case potential bugs wanted to crawl onto the bed by dark of night. Better to sleep in your car at a Walmart parking lot. Americas Best Value is Americas Grossest Hotel Stay. To management : please shut this place down and rebuild your rooms from top to bottom. REPLY TO OWNER RESPONSE BELOW : When a diseased tree bears rotten fruit, it is of no benefit to seek an alternate fruit from the same tree. Such is the case with your hotel. After reading other reviews the next day, quite a number of hotel guests reacted with the same disgust as I had during my stay. So, what benefit would it have been to ask for an alternate room since the entire facility is ”diseased” when it comes to cleanliness and upkeep. I WILL SEND A COMPLAINT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT SO THEY CAN SEND AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATOR.

Tru by Hilton Middletown

Wallkill|5.67km from city centre
We knew we were going to be a late check-in and an early check-out when we were deciding on where to stay. We saw the pictures of the breakfast and the hotel looked pretty new and clean, so we decided to pick this Tru. The breakfast shown on the Hilton website is not what you get. The microwave had almost an inch of water in it (we measured). The toaster was broken. The ”Donuts, Muffins, and Bagel” section had some bagels and nothing else. No hard boiled eggs or waffles. The juice machine was out of at least 1 juice. There were three pieces of fruit available, a container of gross looking oatmeal, egg frittata, and sausage links. When we asked the attendant about the bringing out more food, he said that they order the food late and therefore they did not have any. If a hotel is going to offer breakfast it should be up to par. I understand that things break and run out but this many things going wrong is not cool. The floor in our room was dirty. They likely dry mop the floors or just vacuum, but this does not remove the dirt. The floor was sticky and our feet were black after only a few minutes of walking on it. I do not know if this is indicative of hotels in the area, this Tru, or Tru hotels in general but I will not be staying at one again (I had planned on staying at one in November but not anymore). Over the years I have likely stayed at about 20 Hilton hotels around the U.S. and world and this one was the worst by far.

Courtyard Middletown Goshen

After several hotel stays, our visit to this property was a welcome relief. Check in was a breeze, we found our room spotlessly clean and comfortable. We stopped downstairs for a drink and found a group of very loud contractors in the lobby with the same idea. Also, a sign announced a wedding had been held and the guests were staying at this hotel. Thankfully, our room was quiet all night. We are members of the hotel chain's club and made requests pertaining to our room. Unlike several other chains, our requests were honored. Thank you! This property is recommended.

I give this hotel 10 out of 5 stars. I loved this hotel! Look no further! We were greeted by a very friendly front desk assistant. The room was Exceptionally clean and updated. Staff is very friendly and professional. Hot breakfast included and it was good! Im very pleased and impressed. It is in a very private area with a fire pit in the back. Will return if I’m in the area.

My son and I were having the worst week possible trying to move him from NY to Florida. Our living arrangements were terrible so I decided to get a hotel. Being disabled I needed special accommodations. When I was researching hotels in the area, I felt that Red Roof Inn was the choice. I was not disappointed. Daniel Fisher answered the phone and assured me that he would do everything in his power to meet my needs, which included arriving early and checking out past the 11 am timeframe. Upon arrival, Mr. Fisher guided me to my room that was the closest to the entrance. The room was a suite, that included two queen beds( extremely comfortable), a desk, and a small dining table. The room was spotless. I also needed some assistance with personal issues which Mr. Fisher, Gerald, and the rest of the amazing staff took care of. Daniel Fisher the general manager and his staff bent over backwards to help my son and I. We applaud and thank you !!

What a Stressful and horrible experience! I booked a block of rooms for my wedding guests about 6 MONTHS ahead of time, a brunch room and a shuttle to the venue. about a month before the wedding my guests who had booked rooms months before, called me panicking that they called the hotel to confirm their room and they had been told they didn't have reservations, or that it was incorrect in some way. I called the hotel to find out what the issue was and BOTH women I spoke to were incredibly rude and not helpful. The room issues were fixed, so I asked about the brunch room and shuttle I had booked months before and not only did they have the wrong date and time for the brunch they had given the shuttle to another wedding! I have a contract and email proof of the agreement we had and they obviously couldn't be bothered to take note in their calendar. We had to work things out, which was an unnecessary stress added to my list a month before the wedding. The Brunch room was TINY I was told it would hold 40 people but when we arrived it barely held 20. I wish I had known, we would have gone to a restaurant for brunch instead. THEN to top it all off. I provided a guest goodie bag for EACH of my guests, I not only told them on the phone that it was one per GUEST NOT PER ROOM i also told them when I dropped them off. Then I find out people are checking in and only getting one per room. One of my bridesmaids called TWICE to remind them one per GUEST and they still continued to mess it up! The completely RUINED a HUGE part of my wedding since myself and most of my guest were coming in from out of town. I thought I was dealing with a Manager Cody, but honestly I hope he isn't a manager as he completely dropped the ball on my wedding and added an IMENSE amount of stress that I did not need. I have also told my wedding venue to take them off their recommendation list because of this added stress. I wouldn't wish that on a bride! Wish I could've given Negative 5 stars for this place!
Overlook Lodge and Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain

The room is small, the bathroom is smaller, the bathtub is difficult to get into, basically it can be said to be blocked. Winning is providing charcoal, you can point the fireplace in the living room, it is quite atmospheric. In the villa, several rooms have average sound insulation, and the sound of neighbors opening the door penetrates the room... The stone house is more distinctive, the nearby lake is very beautiful, the feeling in the forest, and the air is very good. Maybe it's better to come here in summer.

I came here for the second time, but I was a little disappointed. There was almost no service. After staying for 2 nights, the faucet fell off on the first day and I could n’t take a bath. The manager the next day didn't know anyone about it, and I didn't apologize. The air conditioner was too loud to turn off. I placed 2 orders and booked 2 nights, but I had to check out at 12 and check in at 16.
