Courtyard by Marriott Across Universal Orlando

I stayed here for my business trip. I arrived late and the room sold out, the one I got was a toilet has a leak and the water run all the time, so I requested to change the room, I got the bigger room, still the water tab in the bathroom is broken. It's 1 am in the morning, I just took the room. Also, the hotel reception at the night shift was rude.

Ok but the room is a bit old. The hotel is closed to the outlet which is good.

The hotel lobby is nice & bright and hotel offers free coffee in the morning & ice water all day. I also loved the gift shop which sells almost everything & closes quite late. There is a TGIFridays attached to the hotel & service is really good. The pool area looks nice. The room is spacious but very dated, It damp & carpet feels a bit icky. The room also has a distinct unpleasant smell (like cleaning solution) but it does not make the room smell clean/fresh. There are not enough power outlets to plug devices. The hotel rooms & hallway need to be renovated (please remove the carpets)

Hotel is at a great location that is walking distance from Universal Studio. The room was big and comfortable. Price per night is good. However, the bathroom is a bit beaten up; tub was scratched, side of doors and taps/shower head had some rusting. Carpet at corners of the room was dirty with dust/debris. The room was musty when first walked in. Although I didn’t see any, recent reviews suggest there were bed bugs. So I have to quarantine my luggage when I got home.

The room had a really musty smell, even after we requested a room change.

Staff nice & very clean; knowing our early arrival hotel staff arrange a room for us to early check in. Thank you!

Fair Hotel.. Slow and complex check-in… Big room.., and comfortable beds. There’s a Fridays beside the hotel. Close to the Universal theme parks.., such as 15 minutes walking. I’d stay again.

Staff was great, room very clean, unlike my lay 3 visits, there were hidden charges at checkout, not related to services. Next visit to area I will be checking other places.

It was great. Very close to universal studio
