Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando

We book the Royal Pacific hotel for the location. Perfect for Universal studios and Islands of Adventure. As we were visiting in February, we didn’t use the outdoor pool. The tuk tuk shop was pretty expensive. No ice machine available on our floor. Service on the whole was good, it can be a wait to get checked in, there was only  4 decks open for such a big hotel. The hotel was clean but looking a bit dated.

The inly thing I could fault was the signage to anywhere. There are none. We walked 30min. Round two hotels. For what should have been a few minutes cause once of the boat taxi for the first time no signed for lobby or anything. Same in morning sign to water taxi then no sign to say get life to floor one. Tbh this seems to a standard thing round universal. No sign or basic sign to everything toilets hotel rides. But have to say hotel was amazing and clean and would stay again. Ashley it early check in and late collection was very helpful

Second time staying at this Universal Hotel. Hotel is generally nice and very convenient.Service is pretty good too.

We loved the hotel but encountered a few problems with our room unfortunately. The location is great we loved the water taxi to the parks and the express passes but they weren’t really needed during our trip as lots of rides were walk on

Very impressive hotel , easy stroll to Universal Studios with the option to get the boat if preferred. We had a slight issue with noisey neighbours however the staff were incredible with resolving this issue. Very friendly , calm atmosphere. Perfect for anyone trying to relax or go to Universal.

This hotel is much too expensive without benefits. The hotel is visibly old and not very good. The price of the rooms is not even close to worth the price. Our room smelled a lot of cleaning fluid, which cant be healthy to breathe into your lungs. The door to the room does not insulate sound, so you can hear people all night walking and talking in the hallway outside. The beds are fine. I don't like bathrooms where the washing sink area does not have a door, it feels like a cheap motel. The rooms are not very big. Parking is 38 dollars, also a rip-off. The hotel is expensive partly because they give you a fast pass for Universal Studios... but it only can be used for the first 2 universal studios theme parks, not valid for the new EPIC park. You will only need a maximum 1 day at the first 2 parks. And when we went in October the first 2 parks didn't even need any fast pass at all, because they are much less popular now than EPIC. If you get an express pass for EPIC then it will cost around 100 dollars more to get a second day of express pass for the first 2 theme parks. It makes much more sense to stay at a better, newer and much cheaper hotel and purchase EPIC plus first 2 theme parks express passes. The best thing about the hotel was the service. But good service is also available elsewhere.
