Nauset House Inn

I am among the lucky people who found the Nauset House Inn over 25 years ago snd won’t go anywhere else on the Cape if I can help it. It has been my husband’s and my home away from home. Just driving down Beach Road toward the Inn makes you smile; your cares seem to float off your shoulders as soon as you drive up the drive. It’s hard to put into words what makes the Nauset House Inn unique;- perhaps above all it is the graciousness, kindness, and attention to detail of the lovely hosts, Cindy and John and their regular staff Marcia and Judy. They took over this place from Cindy’s parents and have maintained and improved upon its wonderful qualities. The rooms are beautiful and restful, decorated with Diane’s stencils and artwork. The atmosphere is more than welcoming; it is essentially nurturing. The living room features games, books and restful places to sit and chat with others. A wide yard with shade trees is another lovely place to be. The breakfasts are magnificent , as many other people have commented. Guests sit at two long tables at breakfast, and strike up conversations with strangers who soon become friends. I have met some of the most wonderful people there and hope to continue doing so. The Inn is less than a mile from Nauset Beach and central to many local attractions John and Cindy will help you find. They’ll also suggest good restaurants and make your dinner reservations.
