Hôtel Inn Design & Restaurant Alençon
"The hotel is ideal for a stopover and we have used it before and the staff are friendly and polite and the food excellent an the facilities are clean"
Ibis Styles Flers
"This was the hotel selected for a coach tour. New when I saw that a continental breakfast would be supplied, however, no other meals were available. With the hotel being 20 walk from the main town area, it was not suitable for everyone to get food. Local deliveries when busy. The bar even ran out of beer. Room is basic but quiet. Would have been nice to have a kettle at least in the room."
Le Manoir du Lys
"We felt welcome from the first moment we entered the hotel. Guiding us to our room, all the staff being friendly, helpfull, nice. Breakfast with seasonal and home made products, freshly made juice, cakes, fruits, charcuterie, cheeses.. Our room was lovely, very clean, bathrobes, toiletries, little details that made it nice. The restaurant at evening was exquisite. Touched all our senses. Also the bistro “Gayot” they recommend in the centre of the town was really good. Nice garden, swimming pool, tennis court. And you instantly know that mushrooms are the main key in their whole story. Their mushroom butter is to die for. We couldn’t stop eating from it. We highly recommend to stay there. You will see us back in the future. A very hardworking team, always a smile on their face, always friendly. "
B&B Hotel Alencon Nord
"Really not a great hotel, very small room and far from everything"
Le Lion DOr
"On the way to the Castle of Carrouges, we stayed at the Lion of Gold restaurant in Ecouché-les-Vallées. Good pick: after a warm welcome, the housemaster guided us to a beautiful and comfortable room with a spacious sheep table. The unique formula of the midday offers a varied and appetiteful buffet followed by exquisite slices of a soft cow roast and sweet with its garment, served by the cook in person. The "home" desserts, certainly classic, were particularly delicious, all for a very reasonable price. Therefore, very favourable impression that contrasts with the latest review published by Trip Advisor under Mike Prior: " .... Something wrong with the hotel, but the male grossness, the presumed owner, was unprecedented. The spirit of time is the most hostile to the "male" (metoouesque androphobia?) especially if it is a good idea to be our owner? The barbe that served us very courteously last noon has not inspired us a so severe judgment. Honni be who man thinks!"
Le Refuge du P'Tit Fischer
Résidence b'o Cottage - b'o Resort Thermal & Spa
"With a pool for the kids, it's great"
Hotel des Ducs
"Booking an unknown hotel in a never vistied before city can be risky. However, this hotel was absolutely wonderful - the attention to detail, the comfort, sparkling clean and so welcoming. The proprietors, husband and wife, couldn't have done more to make sure our stay was hugely enjoyable and very memorable. We can highly recommend this and coupled with the charming town itself, is a spot to stop at in La Belle France"
Ibis Budget Flers les Grands Champs
"Personnel à l'accueil agréable et arrangeant Clean hotel with silent lift Good litter."

La Brocherie
"Room decoration made with taste. Very pleasant spa space. Heated swimming pool at 29, 5 degrees. nice massage chassis. Recreation room with flipper, babyfoot .... Very good guest kitchen. Very well maintained outside. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable."
7 , le Haut Montrayé
"This is a fascinating little mini-farm in a centuries-old house. She has chickens, goats, and a miniature pony. Lovely places to relax on a lounge in the sun or eat out under an umbrella in the garden. Its 18-inch thick walls are perfect soundproofing. The silence is a welcome relief from a busy city. Host Monique is friendly and energetic, and an excellent cook. She even made the delectable croissants and jam for our yummy breakfast. It is served in a large dining room with several fascinating antiques and literature about local activities. I highly recommend the nearby B'O Resort & Spa in Bagnoles de l'Orne. You don't have to stay in the Victorian resort to take advantage of the hot spring treatments. I have been twice and felt all brand new after a soak, a mud pack, exercise class in the cool pool that is perfect for sightseer's legs, and a relaxing bubble-caressed lounge in yet another pool."

Le Bourgis Chambres d'Hotes
Hôtel Normandie Spa
"Two night stay, fantastic value given the location, staff very helpful and friendly, even understood my school boy french. Rooms very nice, large and comfortable."
Le Pommenial de la Hérissonnière
Brit Hotel & Spa le Roc au Chien
"The room was tight with space and the shower room the size of a closet. The wash basin was cracked. Where the manager was very charming and helpful her staff left much to be desired. Their body language left one with the impression that they were tired of tourists invading their space; indifferent and could not look at you in the eye. Table service was very poor showing a lack of training and experience. We were seated at a table but not given any menus. After waiting a quarter of an hour we noticed other couples arriving were seated and given menus immediately. At that point I got up and asked a member of staff for a menu. Having supplied our order we were kept waiting half an hour before the first course arrived while other customers who had arrived after us were served before us. Our dinner took us two and a half hours! On departure, after two nights, we were checked out by one of the assistants who was very curt, could not look at me in the eye and could not bring herself to wish us a pleasant journey! Cannot recommend this hotel"
