Hotel Fortuna

We loved our stay at this hotel! We were there June 24-29. We had a double room with queen bed and balcony. We were very happy with the choice of using this hotel as a base for our stay in the Dolomites. The location was fantastic for walking to the three lifts in town and we also used the bus pass that is provided by the hotel. Although we arrived via car, we left it parked in their garage during our entire stay. We got a 3-day Gardena Card and enjoyed using the lifts to take beautiful hikes in the area. The hotel had a nice and filling breakfast. We were very impressed with the woman who managed the hotel - she was so friendly and helpful and really made the entire experience so wonderful. Lodging in this area seems a bit on the expensive side, however we felt it was worth it to stay in a hotel that was so conveniently located.

I had a great stay at Hotel Fortuna. A special thanks to Rita, she was always kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful whenever I needed anything. Her warm attitude really made the experience feel comfortable and stress-free. Overall, the hotel was pleasant and well looked after, and the staff’s attention to guests stood out. I’d happily recommend Hotel Fortuna and would stay here again.

Our stay in Val Gardena was perfect . A big reason was Hotel Fortuna. Everything about this place is perfect. The room had a great view , incredibly clean and the bed was comfortable. I have to compliment the staff . Everyone was very helpful and friendly . Special mention to Rita , her smile and warmth made our stay extra special . Also the location made accessing the lifts and neighboring towns very easy. We would definitely stay here again anytime of the year . This is a gem in this part of the Dolomites .

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Fortuna in Ortisei. It was the ideal location for our holiday in Val Gardena, with an easy walk to the gondola and village center. We had a quiet room with city and mountain views. The snow received just before our arrival made for great skiing. Back at the hotel, our host Rita was so pleasant and helpful that we felt completely cared for. We cannot wait to return to Hotel Fortuna and Ortisei; a 5/5 experience overall!

Loved everything about this cozy little Hotel. Rita works tirelessly to keep the place warm and welcoming. The location was perfect for exploring town and getting to the various ski shops and mountains. I look forward to bringing my family back some day soon.

Cozy hotel on a great location. It is a 10 min walk to the Sedeca lift, perfect for skiing. The breakfast is great with plenty of healthy options. We loved the view from our room on the Seiser Alm. Diner is served in a different hotel, but it’s a short walk (actually quite nice to walk a bit after being on the slopes all day). Rooms are cozy and clean, with sufficient space for your (ski) clothing. Star of the stay is Rita, the host. She doesn’t speak English but it works perfectly fine with Google Translate. She is a very warm and happy person, always making us feel welcome

The place is beautiful, very clean and the food is excellent. Rita, The owner is one of the loveliest people ever. On the morning we left, breakfast was waiting for us. We enjoyed every minute thanks for everything.

Everithing was perfect, location is very close to center and good connected. Parking garage and ski depo with elevator:). The staff and owner is verry kind.
