It’s a small nice hotel with only 100 guest room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy to communicate. Just 10 mins from Osaka station, you’ll need a bit of effort to find it first time but not too difficult. Breakfast is for bread only but it’s fine and good enough with me.

I like the location of the hotel. Very central to many shops and attractions. Breakfast a disappointment that serve only a variety of pastries. Nonetheless, love the modern and minimalist looks of the hotel.

Had a lovely stay at the Tones Osaka. It looks pretty much as in the pictures, which is rare these days. Staff was super friendly and helpful during the entire stay. Room was generally very clean. Mine was located to the backside of the window (window next to wall), therefore no disturbing level outside noise. Breakfast was a bit smaller than expected (croissants, danish and bread buns) but actually just for my taste. I Just think it should just be communicated on their web presence since guests might expect more from this kind of boutique hotel. Overall I would stay here again. Umeda station is walkable in distance. Good food and entertainment selection is to be found in the area.

Staffs are very friendly and delightful. Breakfast was yummy. Our room was facing the freeway and main road. It was very noisy- no sound proof from outside and we can also easily hear foot steps from upper level. Light was too dim for make-up. Others are awesome!

TLDR: Beware of excessive hidden charges for additional guests (JPY 5,000/night vs. normal rate JPY 1,500/night). Nice hotel with good location, but lacks transparency in pricing policies. Not recommended due to unreasonable extra charges. I recently stayed here and had an unpleasant encounter. I made a mistake booking for 1 person instead of 2, and informed the front desk upon check-in to correct this. Rather than charging us the rate difference (about JPY 1,500 extra per night as shown on the hotel website for the same room type & period of dates), they demanded JPY 5,000 per night for the additional person - more than 3 times higher than the normal rate. This pricing felt unfair considering we used the same room with no upgrades or additional services. The hotel only provides housekeeping every 3 days, so there was no extra cleaning to justify this excess charge. When questioned about this significant price difference, the staff merely stated it was "hotel policy" but could not show any written documentation or website information about these charges. This lack of transparency is concerning, as guests have no way to anticipate these excessive fees before arrival. On the good side - the hotel itself is clean, stylish, hotel staff are friendly, and it's located near Osaka Station. However, be aware that basic amenities are lacking. Guests need to purchase their own water as the hotel does not provide bottles beyond the first day. I feel like they took advantage of my booking mistake to charge extra money. While the hotel itself is decent, I cannot recommend it due to their hidden charges and unreasonable pricing policies. Would I return? No - the management's approach to pricing and extra charges has permanently lost my trust.

Good location , walkable to Osaka and Umeda station. Lots of shoppings and restaurants nearby. Staffs are very helpful with great service. Rooms are comfortable and stylish
