Excellent location near two metro stations on different lines. It's very convenient to get to Nara (literally direct, no transfers needed) and Kyoto. The neighborhood itself is interesting to explore, and you can walk to Osaka Castle in less than an hour.
The room was quiet day and night; the soundproofing is excellent, and the blackout curtains are great. There's enough space to open a suitcase, and you could even walk between the bed and the TV, not just on one side of the bed.
Zero complaints about cleanliness – no mold or strange smells. The towels and linen were clean, and so were the floors. Towels are changed daily, and you can hang a sign on the door if you need room cleaning.
The bathroom is good: a separate shower, toilet, and sink. There's plenty of space around the sink for toiletries and other items. The hairdryer is decent.
As for the downsides, there's no microwave in the room, and you can't just use the one in the dining area. They only allow heating food for the hotel's own breakfast.
There's a 7/11 right next to the hotel, but we don't recommend it, as it's always very busy and has a limited selection.
The TV in the room is quite useless. There are only 5-10 channels with nothing interesting, no YouTube, Netflix, or general internet access. If you're really keen, you might be able to connect a laptop via HDMI.
Wi-Fi also leaves much to be desired; we occasionally had to use mobile data. Perhaps we just had bad luck with our room, but if you need high-speed internet, don't rely on the hotel's Wi-Fi.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and would definitely return.
