Tokyu Stay Osaka Honmachi

The hotel is near the subway station, but be cautious if you have a lot of luggage as the stairs at Exit 12 are numerous. If you have many bags, I recommend taking Exit 9, where you can also go through an office building and take an elevator up. The front desk service was mediocre. I dropped off my luggage early to store it, and when I checked in later that evening, they said my bags were already in my room. Turns out they sent them to the wrong room, which was quite a hassle. The room itself was clean, though! And the bathroom amenities, showerhead, and hairdryer were all Refa brand, which was a nice touch.

Location-wise, the hotel is super convenient, close to both Nihonbashi and Shinsaibashi. The room was fantastic; even with four of us, it didn't feel cramped at all, and it even had a washing machine. Everything was clean and tidy. I really loved the hotel's ground floor and 18th-floor lobby library – so quiet and comfortable. The service was excellent, and they even had staff who spoke Chinese.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and they spoke Chinese, Japanese, and English. The facilities are very well-maintained; from the outside, everything looks impeccable. However, upon closer inspection, there were some minor cleanliness issues with the duvet cover and the fish tank. I was pleasantly surprised that the superior twin room came with a microwave and utensils, and the fridge had both freezer and refrigeration compartments. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful view and the wide selection of beverages. Overall, it lives up to its four-star rating.

This was my first trip abroad, and I chose Japan as my destination. I can confidently say that Tokyu Stay was satisfying in every aspect. First, the hotel's location is excellent, situated between Honmachi and Sakaisuji-Hommachi stations, both just a short walk away. Across from the hotel, there are chain restaurants like Matsuya, Sukiya, Gyoza no Ohsho, and Torikizoku, as well as several convenience stores nearby, fully meeting daily needs. Getting to places like Shinsaibashi, USJ, Umeda, and Osaka Castle from the hotel is also incredibly convenient. Second, the hotel's interior facilities are very comprehensive. Although the room isn't huge, it's clear that the hotel put effort into its decor and amenities. Smart TVs, Sharp washing machines, Daikin air conditioners, and REFA hairdryers all showcase Japanese quality. The refrigerator and microwave were very practical; we could heat up bentos bought the day before. Third, the hotel's service was very thoughtful. Since we arrived before check-in time, we left our luggage at the front desk. When we returned later, we were informed that our luggage had already been delivered to our room, which was a very considerate touch. All in all, my stay at Tokyu Stay was very satisfying, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Japan.

Very satisfied with this hotel. It's in a great location, just a few minutes' walk to Shinsaibashi, making it super convenient for dining, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment. A big plus is having a laundry room.
