Hotel Nikko Osaka

The hotel service was absolutely excellent! The staff were all so welcoming and helpful, assisting with our luggage and even delivering it to our room after check-in. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Its location is also fantastic, right opposite Daimaru Department Store and Parco, and close to Shinsaibashi, making shopping incredibly convenient. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

First, about the location: it is exceptionally convenient, right in the heart of the Shinsaibashi commercial district. All major department stores are just a stone's throw away, and Namba is about a 15-minute walk. Even the Superior Twin Room felt quite small to me. While it's advertised as 24 to 27 square meters, it realistically feels more like 20. The service aspect is quite interesting: the housekeeping staff are of Indian descent, the bell staff in the lobby are from Myanmar and Vietnam, and the front desk agents are locals. We didn't request full room cleaning during our stay, just daily replenishment of amenities. The absolute highlight is the hotel's breakfast. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights, and tried both the Western restaurant on the 2nd floor and the Japanese restaurant on the 3rd floor. At first glance, the selection doesn't look huge, but everything is of very high quality. The service in the restaurants is also excellent, and the desserts, in particular, are well worth savoring. Perhaps the delicious pastries alone will bring us back for another stay next time.

Great location, delicious breakfast, and the room had an amazing view. The sunset and night views were absolutely stunning, and from the high floor, you could even see Osaka Bay in the distance. While Shinsaibashi is lively and bustling, I found myself preferring the peaceful vibe of Kitahama.

Pros: Fantastic location, right in the heart of the shopping district, inside a mall, with direct access to the subway. The area not only features Daimaru department store and tons of luxury brands, but also plenty of drugstores, food streets, and a great variety of snacks.

The room is a decent size, right opposite a shopping mall, and very close to the subway. Aside from the occasional roaring engine noise from street racers late at night, getting to Shinsaibashi is super convenient.

The hotel's location is impeccable, right above the subway, with several luxury boutiques and the Daimaru department store across the street. The room facilities are quite simple, and though the decor is a bit dated, it's still well-maintained. The hotel breakfast is very generous, with Japanese style on the 2nd floor and Western on the 3rd, the latter being more extensive.
