It’s alright it was pretty noisy because it’s just in downtown but i really liked the Japanese style rooms and they had big rooms which is nice

Good location for shopping and bus to/from the airport

The most gorgeous typical Japanese hotel I have ever lived in. Keys needs to be submitted to the front desk when you are planning out which I had never seen and imagined. Unbelievable near the bustling street of Donton. And some unexpected Izakayas you may visit.

I am in the hospitality business. Renovation costs in Japan are extremely high, and I imagine that this place has the same problem as many other small hotels. i.e. it is too expensive to do a full renovation. This Ryokan would have been much more expensive when the decor was new, as the rooms are very nice with ensuite shower and toilet. My room was in very good condition. Furthermore, the Ryokan is in the heart of the city, a 10min walk from Nippombashi or Namba Stations. Now the carpets and decor are shabby in places, but not the rooms, so for the price that I paid, I consider it an "excellent" stay. The staff were kind and professional. The Ryokan is right on the water's edge, and if the area directly next to the stream were kept clean and beautiful, the location would be fantastic, and much more expensive. Unfortunately, the streams that run through Osaka are dirty, and what could have been an incredible asset is instead a neglected, dirty and ugly "water corridor" instead of a beautiful and green area to enjoy refreshments right next to the water. Perhaps someone from Osaka Tourist Board or Osaka Government will read this review and consider a major renovation and clean-up of these water-courses that criss-cross the city of Osaka. They could become Osaka's greatest asset.

Satisfied. The room is very Japanese style. Shinsaibashi is downstairs. When I came back from shopping, I found that the quilt had been laid out. Satisfied.

This hotel is really hard to describe. I originally wanted to experience tatami accommodation, but when I arrived, I found that it was actually similar to the "Gonjin Castle" in China. It seems that most Japanese come here to take a shower and then stay overnight. For tourists like us, it doesn't feel like a hotel. The overall look is old, but very clean. There is no conditioner in the shampoo. I asked a serious Japanese middle-aged man at the front desk, and he replied that the shampoo and conditioner are combined into one. Anyway, for someone like me with long hair, it's dry after washing. The toilet looks like it was decades ago, but it's very clean. It doesn't matter, but the TV in the room There was a lot of dust in the room and on the paper towel box. It felt like no one had lived in the room for a long time. The cover didn't fit the quilt at all. The quilt separated from the cover in the middle of the night. There were also obvious stains on the quilt. My kids said it looked disgusting. We had to make do with it. The most important thing was that the room was super cold. The air conditioner was not powerful. It relied on a heating device that looked very dirty and old. The noise was huge. We had to turn it off at night, otherwise we couldn't sleep. We could only say that this was really a hotel. Don't ask for anything. The location was really good, and there were Chinese waiters at the front desk, which made communication easier.

We stayed for three days and changed three rooms. The hotel's quilts were really hard to describe. They looked dirty. On the third day, it was even worse. The air conditioner in the room did not heat. We asked the staff, but they said they were full and could not change. They directly brought a plug-in heating machine.

It was really clean and there were three of us... It was really nice with two beds and a single room, and the service was good. The location is also the best, so if I go to Osaka, I will definitely book here.

The accommodation is located right in front of Dotonbori, the city center of Japan, so public transportation is convenient, and the accommodation itself is a 3-star accommodation, so there is nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. However, since the surrounding area is Dotonbori, it is a pity that there are a lot of people.

There is no air conditioning in the room and I caught a cold at night. The overall Japanese inn feeling is very good, but the facilities are too old. We stayed in a room that was converted from a storage room. There was no air conditioning and it was too cold. The quilt was too short and couldn't cover our heads and feet!
