Stayed here again after a year, and this time I opted for a renovated room in Building 2, which was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was as delicious as ever, especially my favorite milk matcha, which was free and refillable. This is definitely a high-value budget hotel near Umeda Station in Osaka. My only slight regret was that when I checked out on May 23rd (after checking in on May 22nd) and stored a suitcase until May 25th, I was asked to pay a 1000 JPY/day storage fee for May 24th (the day of checkout and the day of re-check-in were free). It's a minor point, but understandable. Travelers needing to store luggage at the hotel should note that there's a charge for storage on non-check-in/check-out days.

The hotel Kansai location is great ! Very close with Umeda-Osaka main station within 10 minutes walking distance using exit 2 or 14. We book 2 double rooms and stayed for 4 days, the room a bit small, bathroom is okay and overall experience is clean and satisfied. The breakfast is not much changes but good thing having a coin-oprated washing machine and dryer !

The hotel’s location is its greatest plus for us. Tho it is located near red light district but that’s okay with us, couple. Family should stay away from this location. The only negative feedback I can give is the smell of cigarettes in hotel lobby and hotel corridors. Room is clean and has enough space for 2 adults.

Lower your expectations for the location, as it's near love hotels and can feel dodgy with people approaching you for bars. The rooms are standard business hotel style and budget-friendly. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is weak; I could hear neighbors clearly and it was very noisy by 7:30am people are walking and talking. Luckily, the location is convenient for food and close to Whity Umeda.
