Toyoko Inn Osaka Umeda Nakatsu No.1 Reviews

I chose this hotel because it's near Umeda, which helped reduce transportation costs. It seems to have the standard Toyoko Inn decor, which is a bit old-fashioned, but it was still a comfortable stay. The desk was large, perfect for placing belongings or working. This was the only hotel on my trip that didn't allow early check-in, but they did give me the room card in advance, which was a bit odd.

Great location, kind and helpful staff. The only caveat is that the walls are extremely thin, so you can't really have much of a conversation.

The breakfast changed daily and was delicious! The front desk service was also excellent. It's very close to the Umeda shopping area, which was convenient for shopping, and we could store our luggage. Even after checking out, we could still leave our bags while doing some last-minute shopping around the area.

Nice clean area and good service and good breakfast

It's within walking distance of Umeda Station, making it even more convenient than transferring to the subway at Umeda Station. However, the trains can be a bit noisy at night. Breakfast is filling, with bread and rice, but no milk.

Small rooms, average breakfast, the only advantage is close to the Nakazu Subway, only a few minutes walk to reach, walk to Umeda Station is also about 10 minutes, easy to find food, front desk service can also.

The front desk staff were very kind and pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was large, so I was able to rest comfortably. The free breakfast was surprisingly good. Toothbrushes and amenities were provided, so I think I'll probably come back again.

This Japanese budget hotel chain offers free breakfast, coffee, an ice machine, and laundry facilities. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent. It's a bit far from the center of Umeda, but it's about a ten-minute walk away. Hankyu Sanbangai is a busy street with many restaurants, and some popular spots have long lines.

The front desk service was good; despite the language barrier, check-in and check-out went smoothly. The room was clean, and it had an ensuite bathroom. We didn't use the toiletries, so we don't know their quality. Our room was free of bed bugs, and the sheets and duvet covers were very clean. The location is very convenient, close to Umeda Station and Hankyu Sanbangai. Shopping is nearby, and you can go out for late-night snacks. The soundproofing was good; we didn't hear any noise during our stay. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. Attached are some close-up photos and night views taken at night.
