Smile Hotel Shinsaibashi in Osaka truly exceeded my expectations, offering a five-star experience. The location is superb, right next to the bustling Shinsaibashi shopping district. Everything from shopping and dining to attractions is within easy reach, yet the hotel itself is a tranquil oasis, providing a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner of the room was spotless, the bedding pristine, and the bathroom gleamed. The air was fresh and pleasant. While the facilities aren't luxurious, they are complete and practical. The comfortable mattress ensured a good night's sleep, and thoughtful amenities like air conditioning and an air purifier were much appreciated. The staff were a true highlight – everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping team was warm and friendly, always greeting guests with a smile, patiently answering questions, and even hand-drawing maps to help with directions, which made me feel incredibly welcome. In summary, with its convenient location, pristine environment, excellent facilities, and attentive service, this is an outstanding choice for anyone visiting Osaka. My only regret is that this was just a stopover for me, and I only stayed for one day before heading to Kyoto. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Osaka.

It was a little higher than I expected. the reception service was very good 😊👍. Even though I can’t speak Japanese, there were no problems. location is okay and easy to find and near by station.Highly recommended!

Great value for money! The hotel is really close to Nagahoribashi subway station, and there's a huge drugstore nearby with a wide variety of products. Plus, if you follow their official WeChat account, you get extra discounts. The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious, with all the facilities you could need. The staff were friendly and welcoming!

The front desk service was quite good. Even though the price was affordable, the room size wasn't small. Transportation isn't super convenient; it's about a 5-minute walk to the subway station. However, a taxi to Osaka Station is only around 1000+ yen, so no need to worry too much if you're carrying luggage. The air conditioning in the room was quite dirty; I hope they can improve that.

Really good hotel with everything you need—clean and comfortable. Our room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel and very well maintained. The service was excellent, with friendly staff. There are food options and convenience stores nearby, and the metro is only a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Would definitely come again.

Very perfect location with many transport options and different lines available. It’s within walking distance to Dotonbori and Namba. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and the hotel is opposite McDonald’s and a 24-hour AEON hypermarket. The room is enough for two people and has everything we need. It’s not very big, but more than sufficient. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Osaka! Perfect 10/10.

On the second day, as I was unfamiliar with the address, the front desk staff not only took the initiative to print a map for me but also patiently gave me directions. Such thoughtful service left a deep and unforgettable impression on me.
