The most noteworthy thing is the quality of the spring water. Even if you don't know much about hot springs, you will be surprised at the difference in the slippery feeling. There are three different baths, including the mixed outdoor bath. The food was also satisfying in both quality and quantity. The staff were very polite and it was a very good inn.

Every year, we visit the inns of the Japan Society for Preserving Secret Hot Springs. My husband used to come here with his parents, and after about 10 years, we decided to go again with our family. He said, "We chose this place because the water was good and there was a lot of delicious food!" Just as the reviews said, the water was very warming and we were very satisfied. We couldn't finish our dinner. The food was of a high standard, even among secret hot springs. Also, we had an all-inclusive plan, so we had all-you-can-drink and checked out at 11:00. My middle school-aged child has been begging us to come again, so we're thinking of coming again.

I visited in late June. I had high hopes for this inn, as it was popular and highly rated in the past and difficult to get a reservation at the View Hot Springs. This time, I booked the inn alone through a reservation website. I was in a detached room, but there were no problems other than the steep stairs. I'll explain the reason for the title first, but I was quite disappointed with the driver who drove us to and from the station. He didn't smile when greeting the first-time customer at the station, or rather, it seemed like he didn't want to pick us up. This is quite unusual, and it left a very strong impression. The driver was also quite rough. I thought that it was standard for most inns to create a sense of "welcome" by chatting about the land and scenery along the way, even if it wasn't quite a tourist guide. The front desk staff seemed efficient, but in fact they were not very good at all. It is natural to decide the time of the meal, but it is a mystery why you have to choose the brand of sake tasting set at check-in. I suppose the fact that the front desk can only handle one group at a time is unavoidable, but while you're sitting in the lobby waiting to check in, you're not even asked to fill out your accommodation card, and instead you're called to the front desk in order, like at a government office or bank. The quality of the hot spring is very good. The open-air bath is not a garden open-air bath, but has a nice atmosphere for a mountain inn. The staff are quite busy, and in the dining area, the friendly waitresses will prepare freshly fried tempura and small pots for you. However, if you ask whether the ingredients or cooking method are unique and can only be found here, unfortunately, they are not. The price of sake is not very generous for an inn in Tohoku. I wouldn't say it's expensive. Also, this inn does not take credit cards locally. The disappointing points this time were concentrated on the shuttle and the front desk, so guests who come by car may have a good impression. If the owner of the inn is reading this, I think that if there was a very good impression during the stay, it would have offset the previous pick-up and drop-off, but the first and final impression of the service was quite a loss. I would highly recommend that you assign a friendly person to be in charge.
