Hotels Near North Sea Aquarium in Oostende

Séjour de 2 nuits en chambre familiale. Superbe accueil, personnel aux petits soins, chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Espace piscine très beau, petit déjeuner top! Aire de jeux dans l'hôtel pour les enfants, très proche du parking souterrain et de la mer. Nous sommes venus en période d'halloween, joliment décoré, belles attentions une machine à boissons chaudes à disposition l'après-midi dans le salon près de la réception avec des gaufres offertes! Café bouilloire dans la chambre. Vraiment un super séjour dans cet hôtel. C'est sûr, nous y reviendrons lors de notre prochain weekend à Ostende. Bravo à toute l'équipe de l'hôtel BERO pour votre professionnalisme et de tout faire pour satisfaire le client. Ayant séjourné dans beaucoup d'hôtels, j'ai rarement vu cela.

recent 3 nachten verbleven in Cocoon hotel Oostende, via een aanbieding bij Tui ( 2+1). Bij het binnenkomen valt direct een andere stijl op tov veel andere hotels. Niettegenstaande wij heel vroeg waren aangekomen mochten wij al direct naar de kamer ( nogmaals dank daarvoor). De kamers achteraan ( zicht op andere flats en koer) zijn heel rustig ( zoals ik gevraagd had) georienteerd. Een goed bed in de hamptons stijl met badkamer met inloopdouche. Ook de doucheproducten zijn van een goede kwaliteit. Wat het ontbijt betreft: tja daar kan ik kort over zijn : TOP !!! Alles is voorhanden en ligt netjes uitgestald! voor het ontbijt alleen komen wij graag terug! Ik vernam dat je tijdens weekdagen ook kan dineren ( op voorhand keuze vast te leggen) maar dit hebben wij niet gedaan ( tal van goede restaurants in Oostende) tot de volgende keer !

Great location. Beautiful clarity. Mini kitchen. A dishwashing brush. No cloth or sponge. The very greasy hood. Electric kettle and instant coffee. A coffee maker or equivalent would be welcome since there is no breakfast on site. Hard sofa bed bedding. Bathroom sink flow very very slow. To be refreshed overall.

Been to this hotel several times over the past years. They provide consistent service. Good location. Good, friendly and efficient reception. Sometimes there's a queue for check-in (even after online check-in) and check-out (even when opted for fast check-out), as there is no separate desk for members. Nice, clean rooms. Slow elevator :-) And, also consistently (so not a one-time-off), totally overcooked scrambled eggs at breakfast. So, quite a few plusses and also a few points of attention. But I am sure I'll be back.

Excellent large room, very good location, excellent breakfast. And above all a terrible friendly owner. The light in the bathroom was broken, but was made immediately.Room and bathroom up and top clean. Near the beach and the ******. Payed (and affordable) parking around the corner.

Hotel Andromeda is an excellent opportunity for an enjoyable stay. We liked the luxe room with view on the sea and terrasse on the very top. The breakfast is gorgeous. The wellness center is absolutely great, with exception of the harman as the temperature is not high enough. The personnel acted great and was responsive. The overall atmosphere is fantastic.

The Leopold is an internally stunning hotel, usefully close to the beach and the Kursaal. I realise that the shape of the rooms is dictated by the shape of the building, but mine had some annoying quirks. For example, no soap at the wash basin, so you have to leap across the room into the shower to squeeze some from the wall-mounted dispenser. The towels are in the toilet. There is no flat surface to write on. One of the shelves wastes space by gluing a tissue box in the middle. There are three electric sockets, one halfway up the wall, so there is nowhere to attach the kettle, and two you have to get down on your knees to use. I am too old for that. Sorry to nitpick. The staff are mostly lovely, but if you are on reception and on the phone, at least acknowledge the guest standing in front of you, trying to check in, while you are completing your phone call.

Very nice room with stunning view over the beach and sea. New carpets in the corridor and in the room. Check-in was a little dissapointing: nothing warmfully welcoming and rather quick (although no other guests were waiting at that time). No extra info was given (restaurant times, fitness, town, etc.) and no info on having to validate our parking ticket (we found out by coincidence the next morning). We ordered something at the Brasserie to take to the room: a duo of garnaalkroketten at 25EUR: all we got were the 2 kroketten! They did'nt even come with a small salad or anything. That is extremely expensive and they looked ridiuculous on a big white plate! Breakfast is until 10am which is a little early for a Saturday morning. We called reception (no indiciation in the room how to call reception, so we looked up the hotel's number on our phone and dialed from there), to ask for a room service breakfast. The lady kindly transfered us to the Brasserie. 2min1/2 later we got someone on the phone who probably thought we were staff the way he answered. He couldn't answer about a potential room service breakfast so we got transfered back to reception. The lady apologized and said it was actually not possible anymore to have breakfast at all. She didn't have that info for us in the beginning of our call? So we ended up going to a local bakery to have breakfast. In general everything could have been beautiful, except we didn't feel service! We felt as if staff was in its own world, and certainly not attentive to guests. Which is a shame. It doesn't give us the motivation to book there again next time...
