We rested well! The owner is very nice and tried to speak english to give some instructions. You can hear the train in the morning, but at night it doesn't pass often so it doesn't bother.

The second floor of the young lady’s own house is used as a hotel. I have a Japanese-style tatami in room 202. The room is clean and simple. The kitchen and bathroom are shared, but it is very clean. The 4 trash cans at the door are used to classify garbage, which is a tribute to Japan's self-discipline and environmental awareness. As for the geographical location, I took a bus from Sapporo to Otaru. It was about 800 meters down, a 10-minute journey. Because I was dragging my suitcase and the terrain was up and down, I was still a little tired. However, it is very convenient to get to Otaru Canal and JR nearby. I will consider it again in the future

The cheapest private room I could find. It's nearly 10 minutes away from the lively place. There's almost no one on the road at 7pm, which is a bit scary. There's no sign at the door of the B&B, only a nameplate. Fortunately, there's Google Maps, so it's easy to find. The railway is right below the window, 0 distance. Trains pass by intermittently, and there are a lot of trains at 8-9pm and 6-7am. The soundproofing in the room is very poor, and the sound of the door lock turning is very loud. There's a gap in the wooden railings and only one pillow. It's uncomfortable to lie down and watch the phone. Advantages: clean, the bathroom is very clean.

The location is remote and the soundproofing of the Japanese-style room is very poor. You have to be careful when walking and talking, which makes the stay very stressful. I will never stay in a B&B like this again!

Booked this for a friend. I heard it was very clean, but the noise from the train really affected my sleep. It was very noisy.

The hotel is very good, clean, convenient to travel, about 7 minutes from Otaru music box museum, can walk to Minami Otaru station about 5 minutes. The owner of the hotel is very cute, good service, on the day of check-out it rained, the owner called a taxi for me. ☺️

The landlady is very kind and the kitchen equipment can be used, but it will be noisy if it is close to the railway.
