Last minute booking due to transportation delays during heavy rain. Check-in/reception counter is in different place from the actual accommodation but a driver will drop-off and pick-up during stay and check out. It is a comfortable stay, place is neat and place is bigger than normal BnB or rentals.

Small in size but superb hotel. Highly recommended for ist location and affordability. The staff are nice and friendly too. I will recommend this also for the hotel onsen which I thought was a nice experience. They have a tv monitor at the hall which indicated whether onsen is full, partial full or empty too. However there is 2 tabist the green. One is across the road from the main building. The onsen I visited is next to the main building. Not sure whether the other one has an onsen

Good amenities provided, staff speaks English, hot water dispenser provided, the complimentary onsen just beside the building also very enjoyable, there's a soup curry store opposite that tastes great, recommended to try

Good location, can walk from Otaru station but my room in front of the lobby building and have to walk pass through curry restaurant every time. If you don’t like a curry smell, skip this hotel.

The main building for check-in is really close to JR station. Just exit, go straight, turn left after you see Lawson, and then another left at the intersection. It's about 400 meters. The hotel is spread out in several areas. After check-in, the staff told us our villa was another 10-minute walk away. Luckily, there's a shuttle service both ways. It meant we were quite a distance from the onsen, but that was okay since we'd already had plenty of hot spring baths on our trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the villa's location – it was fantastic! Tucked away in an alley near the shopping street along the canal. The space was huge and well-equipped, and having an entire standalone villa was incredibly comfortable. I didn't encounter any of the issues other reviewers mentioned, so I'm very satisfied!

Just arrived on the ferry from Maizuru late at night? Need a place to rest your head for just the night that is only a couple of mins from Otaru station? Travelling solo and VERY light? Then the semi-private cabins may be right for you! Staff are friendly, shared facilities are adequate, and they have an onsen for guests. If you are travelling with others, want to a place to stay for mire than a night, or have luggage, then make sure you book a proper room.

Following the navigation on Ctrip leads to the correct building, but Google Maps directs you to the annex, which is a five to six-minute walk away. The annex doesn't have a front desk; check-in is done via self-service machines. In the main building, Indian staff are available to assist with machine check-in. The hotel is conveniently located, just a three to five-minute walk from JR Station and Otaru Canal. The location is excellent, and the rooms are standard small. There's a public bathhouse available. However, the room rates are significantly higher than in Sapporo city.

Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. The location is super convenient; you can pretty much walk everywhere in Otaru. Plus, the shuttle bus stop for Kiroro Snow World is right across the street downstairs, which is really handy! The room size is decent too, no issues with not having enough space to open your luggage or move around. The staff were all polite and enthusiastic. Considering the price, it's definitely a high-value stay, highly recommended!

Firstly, the service was great, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel booking platform I used stated the room size was 32 square meters. I didn't pay close attention to the room name when I booked, assuming it was a private hotel room. Upon arrival, I found out it was more like a small hostel-style room, and the entrance only had a curtain for privacy, which felt very insecure. To use the toilet, I had to walk a short distance outside the room, and there was only one available. I hope they can update the description on the platform.

The location is great, but the hotel is a bit old and dusty in many areas. What's more, the hotel accommodation and the reception are in separate buildings, and so are the hot springs. It's three units across three buildings. To go to the hot springs, you have to get fully dressed and cross the road. After soaking, you can't just walk back to your room in your yukata; you have to put on heavy clothes and a coat, brave the snow, wait for the traffic light to cross the road, clock in on your floor, and take the elevator back to your room.

There's a delicious soup curry restaurant right downstairs in the main building, but if your room happens to be directly above the kitchen, it can get quite smelly. The location is very convenient for transportation, being close to the JR station.
