We had a good time, the staff was very pleasant, there is a decent restaurant with great pancakes next door. Short walk to the beach, beautiful area. The showers are 500 yen, which is a bit surprising, but otherwise highly recommended accommodation:-)

Comfortable the restaurant and the bath inside. Far from Kyoto as base, but beautiful nature around and the lake is very close.

The manager offered us a ride to the station due to the bad weather! Very nice of her! The bbq place is very nice in the raining weather!

It was really good, good location and nice facilitie.

This was not the best capsule room I booked. But this guesthouse has their own kitchen so you can cook and barbecue and washing machine. Good view from the lake.It also have a hot bath. Mr. H**aru is so approachable. As a solo traveler, I felt I had left a friend there. From my 4-day solo trip I am glad I went there on my last day. I will come back there. 👍

The bath was spacious, and it was great to be able to bathe in the open air! I was lucky to be the only one there, so I had plenty of space to use. The surrounding restaurants closed early, so I considered skipping dinner, but I ended up using the restaurant inside! The hamburger and fries made by the chef were incredibly delicious ^ ^ The washroom was also very clean! However, the road to the station is very dark at night with no streetlights, so it can be scary. I recommend coming early! It felt great in the mornings and evenings.

During Japan's long weekend, hotel prices across the Kansai region are prohibitively high. This hotel offers great value for money. It has a sauna and coin-operated washing machines. Although the rooms were full, it was very quiet. The cleanliness was also good.

As the reviews said, the large public bath was completely private. I only stayed one night, but I went there three times. I was very satisfied. Towels were available for rental, and shampoo and body soap were provided. There were also two hair dryers. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped. It would be good for people who like to cook. It only has an induction heater, not gas. There was beer and other items in the vending machine just inside the entrance. They might also sell snacks. I didn't take a good look. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's good value for money.

I've been staying here since last year for a year-end family trip, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Although shared, there were showers and baths, which was convenient during the cold summer months. I also enjoyed using the soccer field with my kids, and Lake Biwa is right in front, making it a great place for a walk. There's also a cafe, so breakfast was a breeze.

The atmosphere was nice, located in the countryside, quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff were welcoming and gave good recommendations for places to visit. However, it's difficult to get around without a car as the accommodation is about 20 minutes (walking) from Omi-Maiko station. During New Year's Day, none of the shops or restaurants were open. It was a 10-30 minute walk to a convenience store. But the owner was very kind and gave us a ride back to the train station.

I stayed in a single room on the first floor. The hotel has a simple large public bath, which I used twice. It was practically the only bath I had there. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Lake Biwa, and the surrounding area is very quiet. It's a great place for a vacation.
