There was no service water in the room. I was wondering how we could drink complimentary coffee in the morning. I'd appreciate it if they give us water instead of the welcome cookies.

Great hotel. I stayed here with my wife. We really liked the bed. Was very spacious. Room was clean and modern. Really nice blow dryer for my hair and nice modern iron. Television channels were a bit fuzzy. The hotel is sustainable so they don’t give bottled water. They recommend tap water. But I went to the gym for water. Washroom is clean. I like how there’s a nespresso machine in every room. The room can be a bit dark too. Not very much light.

Central location near Parliament. Area around the hotel to the east is rough with local shelters located nearby, but close to Byward Market and Rideau Center for things to do. Standard room amenities and responsive service.

The only location is great! Small room, found some tint on my duvet cover. no refill sugar, tea, and coffee in my room. One waitress in the Breakfast room wasn’t nice. Breakfast is very less and simple if you compare it with the hotel brand. my room had included breakfast but the staff still charged me, I know can be a mistake and I already told her and showed the booking but she didn’t take any action. When I checked out my breakfast charge $25 was still shown in the system. I had explained to the front desk, again and again, that made me embarrassed. I very disappointed and I will not recommend all my friend to stay here and I don't go back anymore.

Nice location right next to the city center. Walk distance to most tourist attractions.

Clean and stylish. Restaurant and bar are excellent. Quiet, private patio. Staff were very polite and accommodating.

A nice hotel well located. The parking is still under repair. I prefer this one to the Weston Ottawa where the rooms are a bit older.

Very convenient as the Rideau Centre is nearby

The hotel staff pull some good PR and saved my weekend, for some reason Trip.com sent a different room size from the one that I had booked a month prior my stay .

The biggest plus of this hotel is being next to CF Rideau, which is also connected to Rideau OC station, the Bay, and Byward Market. The tourist attractions are not far away. You would have to cross the street to get into the mall, however, unlike Westin which is inside the mall. The driveway in the front of the hotel is tiny, and easily runs out of space for normal drop off & pickup. Do note that extending your stay beyond 12:00 noon will cost you $10 per hour.

Hello all. I am a frequent hotel guest with many facilties and I wanted to share my experience with Novotel in order to warn others! I booked my 1 night stay through a third party booking service. I had prepaid for my stay through Trip.com. I woke up the following morning to find that my CC had a hold for the full cost of the room, in addition to my security deposit. The staff insisted this would be resolved upon check out. It was not and I was forced to cancel my birthday dinner reservations that evening, and find alternate transportation from the hotel. Aside from the payment issue I would also like to add that the bedsheets had hairs in them and were clearly not changed, the bedside tables were so small my items were falling off *not exagerrating.* There was no bag in the garbage and the overall layout of the room was poor with very limited storage for clothing. Additionally, the WIFI was extremely cumbersome to set up with any streaming devices. Oh and the hot tub is NOT FUNCTIONAL. It apparently has been off since covid and is now broken. The hotel manager was not in the least helpful when I expressed my dismay with these events. They attempted to shift blame to the third party app after a staff member had already admitted this was due to an "in house mistake." I was offered a 15% discount on another stay for my troubles which is frankly insulting. I would also like to add that I am now going on the 4th day from my stay (3 business days) and the charges are still pending. I've been left with no spending money and I can't buy groceries, gas or anything. I really wanted to like Novotel but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Excellent location. The hotel room is neat and tidy with great amenities. Many good restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was clean and location was great

The hotel is very spacious and clean. Next to it is Rideau, the largest shopping mall in Ottawa. The security is also OK. The hotel front desk will give you two cookies after check-in🍪 The first photo is the hotel breakfast, which is 25 Canadian dollars per person. It's OK. The croissants are delicious😋
