Courtyard Ottawa Downtown Reviews

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to ByWard Market. You can easily walk to Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal boat tour, and the Ottawa boat tour. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet, sink, and shower were all separate, which was a nice touch. Oddly enough, when we returned to the room the next afternoon, everything was cleaned except for the three used bath towels, which weren't replaced. I'm not sure why. Also, the swimming pool on the first floor is quite small, suitable only for young children; adults can barely swim in it.

The room was large, and the mattress was comfortable—neither too soft nor too firm. An indoor parking garage! Absolutely awesome! Everything is within easy walking distance. The room is a bit dated, but the bathroom has been renovated and is very clean.

The property is very clean and very near to historical places. but need to check before booking that they charge about $35 for a parking fee for a one day. No one mentioned it to you at the time of booking. Moreover, I requested parking, and they didn't reply that a paid parking for guests.

Located at a very good location. Walking distance to Byward Market, Parliament Hill, Rideau Shopping Centre, Notre Dam Cathedral Basilica. Do note that kettle and bedroom slippers are on a request basis. Chinese restaurant-Peking Duck, has nice food and is popular with locals. Sammi & Soupe is popular for xiao long baos and fried dumplings. Keg Steakhouse serves good steak with a nice ambience. Overall, it's a positive experience.

Very convenient in the Byward Market area with easy walking access to shops and restaurants.

Centrally located hotel with reasonable facilities. It was a bit tired in terms of decore. We found the hotel quire noisy - guests were speaking loudly at all hours of the night and the sound reverberates through the hotel.

Amazing stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants at Byward Market. Parking available onsite. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Olivia was fantastic and checked us in and out, answered any questions we had and seemed sincerely interested when asking how we enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely book again next time we are in Ottawa.

The hotel is in an excellent location, not far from the airport. The service is thoughtful and the facilities are complete. The bistro in the hotel provides very healthy and delicious breakfast and dinner

Convenient for travel. Capitol Hill, Rideau Canal, Byward Market, etc. are all within walking distance.

It is very close to the attractions, so it should be suitable for tourists. The room is relatively large, and it is not crowded for three people. The facilities are relatively complete. It is a bit noisy due to the construction around it. I mentioned it to the front desk and the parking fee was waived. In short, I am quite satisfied.

Very, very small room. It was my first time staying in such a mini room in North America. I am 154cm tall and I couldn't take a shower properly in the shower room.
