This is our second time staying here and the experience was really diminished. The worst part of our stay was the intense construction happening adjacent to the hotel. Massive jackhammer sounds started at 9AM on Saturday which were echoing through the entire hotel (apparently it starts at 7AM on weekdays!). ONE pair of ear plugs was provided for us. Luckily we had not intended on sleeping in because this would have been impossible. (This was not disclosed during the booking process!) The check in was less enjoyable than last time, they used to serve a complimentary beverage upon check in and offer a variety of complimentary (and for purchase) snacks and beverages in the room.  Now, no drink upon check in and a sad meagre display in the room. Finally, there had been some type of criminal incident when we arrived, the police were in the lobby collecting statements.  I would not book here again.

We stayed one night right in the heart of the Byword Market in Ottawa and really loved it. My only complaint is the cost of parking- $35/night. A little steep. But it seems parking in Ottawa is costly. Other than that, I really enjoyed how great the room was. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great stay! Right downtown, easy to find and accessible to everything. Clean and modern. Noisy due to construction. No room service, but a good lounge and dining area

When we checked in, the sun was shining brightly. The second impression was very good! Two 1.5-meter beds were more comfortable. The first impression was check-in. Although there was an underground garage, which was not consistent with what was written on the website, the communication of the receptionist was really great: 1. Upgrade the room; 2. Free unlimited mini bar; 3. Free a glass of wine from the rooftop bar; 4. The car can be parked at the door temporarily, and the luggage will be moved and then sent to the recommended nearby parking lot, or 45 dollars valet; 5. There is a nice painting in the lobby. The only drawback is that the construction is noisy and it will not end until after 8 pm.

Hygiene: Poor! The first room had peeling toilet surfaces. The bedding was not cleaned Service: Good. They immediately changed my room after I reported the situation.

It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. It was next to the road and the noise of the motorcycle gangs filled the room at night.

During the stay, the hotel parking lot was renovated and the noise was very loud.

The lobby will provide you with some paid parking options around, and the hotel's own valet will be more expensive.

No one cleaned up the place. There was a nice guy the day before yesterday.

The location is very good in the city center. The room is new and the view is good. The downside is that the elevator is very slow and you need to queue. The sink in the bathroom splashes easily. After washing your face, the floor is full of water. The front desk staff seems to be a bit picky. Seeing that we are Asians, they did not introduce the hotel breakfast time and parking fee standards. I had to ask myself. The attitude was a bit awkward.
