I stayed in the Oude Vest for one night in a bicycle trip through the Netherlands. The experience at the hotel was fantastic. There was no reception but all information on how to self-check-in was provided through e-mail and worked beautifully. There was even protected parking for the bikes. The room was spacious, clean, excellently equipped and a fantastic bed. Breakfast was provided by two very nice and cordial ladies. Overall a fantastic experience, strongly recommended.

Schönes Kleinod weg vom Trubel. Wem Rockanje zu voll ist, und wer das Extravagante sucht, ist hier richtig. Ein altes Schulgebäude wurde zu Hotel umfunktioniert und bietet wirkliches Boutique Hotel Ambiente. Jedes Zimmer hat einen eigenen Grundriss, teilweise mit 2 Etagen und auch einige mit Blick zu Hafen: Allerdings auch Zimmer nur mit Oberlicht (?). Die Fenster sind sehr schalldicht, aber nicht zum Lüften zu öffnen (unseres jedenfalls nicht) - Klimaanlage aber vorhanden. Hohe Decken. Zimmer recht funktionell eingerichtet. Sehr gute Betten. Kleine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Es fehlen Steckdosen am Bett, ein Safe (wer‘s braucht), Kühlschrank für längere Aufenthalte und Ablagen für Handtücher wären auch sinnvoll. Schöne Terrasse zum Hafen. Vending machine mit Getränken vorhanden. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Restaurants. Im gleichen Gebäude ein sehr gutes Steakhouse Das Frühstück. Nun, üppig ist es nicht. Es gab sicher von allem Nachschlag, aber der Preis ist doch dafür gefühlt hoch bemessen. Natürlich ist es schwer, ein Buffet für diese geringe Zimmerzahl vorzuhalten. Aber als kleine Verbesserung wäre eine vom Gast am Vorabend auszufüllende Wunschkarte sinnvoll (Ankreuzliste kenne ich vom Zimmerservice anderer Hotels). Um einerseits Reste zu vermeiden, sowie dem Gast alle möglichen Wünsche zu erfüllen. Mehr Steckdosen. Kleiderstange mit Bügeln für längeren Aufenthalt. Sonst waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden. Gerne immer wieder. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Rotterdam und Umgebung. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Superpreis auch in der Hauptsaison.

Zeer centraal en toch rustig gelegen hotel wat best 4 sterren mag hebben. Ruime kamers met prachtig en schoon samitair. Geweldige douche. Leuke ontbijtruimte. Het grappige is dat je via een toegemailde code je sleutel uit het sleutelkastje kan halen, en er behalve de aardige ontbijtdame verder geen personeel is. Er hangen cameras in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes voor de veiligheid.
