Very relaxing hotel. Large comfortable room, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Good food, especially breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend. Enjoyed the Meerkat Safari at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge in spite of the early start.

What a superb stay we had unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights would have loved to extend but not possible this trip. From the host to the honesty bar, the pool to the restaurant, it was all first class. Marcris and Esther were lovely. Couldn’t recommend this lodge more - absolutely perfect

I can’t believe the reviews for this hotel. It was tired looking. The gardens were scruffy, not like the photos at all. The breakfast bar had artificial flowers scattered over it and the tables had vases of artificial flowers. The cheese on the breakfast bar was left over from the day before and had the hard bits cut off. The butter was in cafe style small packs and the amounts of jam were meagre. There was no conditioner in the bathroom and the tubes of shampoo and shower gel were tiny, certainly not enough for two days. I could go on………. On the positive side, the bed was comfy and the hotel receptionist was lovely.

A lovely, quiet and comfortable hotel, not far from Cango Caves. The rooms are spacious and well stocked, the gardens are beautiful and the pool area is secluded. I usually have problems sleeping on the first night in a strange bed, but slept really well here both nights which I put down to the quiet and the comfortable bed. The decor is quirky colonial and the staff are super-helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it

Great experience staying in this hote.The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming ,helpful and attentive throughout our stay. High quality of service and attention to detail.The rooms were immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast .Beautiful garden and swimming pool, great location. Great value for money!!!

This country home is Absolutely stunning. We only stayed for one night but wished we had stayed much longer. Everyone of the staff were brilliant and just wanted to look after you. The grounds and swimming pool were lovely and peaceful. We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary and how they looked after us. We were in room 9 which was a palatial suite and verandah. We felt like royalty. When we went for our evening meal the table was dressed with gold leaves and balloon abd a glass of champagne. We had an ostrich steak which just melted. Everything about this place was perfect and so relaxing. Would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful place. Thankyou so much x

What an amazing place to start with the greeting from the manager and his staff was first class. They couldn’t have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the area. We were advised to go to the Kanga caves and we were not disappointed. We stayed in room 10 which is a suite, which would rival anything in Las Vegas? A truly beautiful room we had dinner there and it was probably the best dinner we’ve had in South Africa. If I could give this place, six stars, I would you will not be disappointed.
