It’s ok hotel. But the some staffs are not that friendly. It’s really difficult to deal things. It’s just some staff and some staffs are good too. So it depends on which staff you are dealing with

A little odd layout. Three buildings which led to us walking quite a way to our room
But the room was clean and tidy and comfortable.
The receptionist was charming

I got flea bites during this stay. The cleanness needs to be improved immediately. I will submit a formal complaint for this. This is unacceptable. I never have this issue with premier Inn so this is the first time. It makes me thinking next time if I would choose premier inn again.

Three out of five as we had three rooms on the booking, two in the main building were ok but ours in the ‘annexe’ was not a good Premier Inn experience. We had booked some time before our visit yet ended up in seperate buildings, we were told because there are ‘no double rooms in the main building, only family and twins’ 🤔. Suggest if this is the case and you want a double, book elsewhere! In this secondary building the security is virtually non-existent, doors unlocked, even so called ‘alarmed’ fire exit doors left swinging wide open and fire doors not closed at night. Quite literally anyine can walk in unchallenged by staff or safety door access. Filthy carpets in the corridors looked like they had not been vacuumed this year. No working lift, that was behind boards. Room smelled awful, could not pinpoint exactly why but no ventilation as windows do not open. The surfaces in the room were actually very clean BUT the amount of black mould in the shower was totally unacceptable, I did wipe some off with tissue so suggest it needs a really good clean. This was brought to the attention of staff at reception. Normally a fan of Premier Inns I would not stay here again and reading reviews there are several comments regarding cleanliness, or rather lack of it. As a seperate comment the adjoining Beefeater restaurant is uninspiring, on a quiet, late Saturday afternoon we had to ask for the table to be cleaned.

I've stayed in this hotel a few times now but the last 2 visits I've noticed how unfortunately the hotel has gone down hill. The standard rooms used to be great. But they aren't the best now. The room I had over the weekend stank of **** had 2 plug in fires, cobwebs and a lovely toe nail behind the chair. It seems if you are a single person they give you the crapiest room. This was the same on my last visit. Please do better premier inn

Rooms are spacious, and I used the standard room, so that’s pretty good. Good amenities like the vending machine in reception. The mattress was comfortable and had a nice and relaxed night in. The establishment has a restaurant which is right next to it, good for dinner!

Just wanted to highlight how excellent Taylor was in sorting out a problem with the heating. His courtesy and professionalism absolutely shone. Due to his efforts we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn’t hesitate in using the hotel again due to these standards. Thank you Taylor.

Great location - both for central Oxford and for family in surroundings. Nice and friendly staff and a really good size room. You kind of know what you get with Premier Inn as there’s not much change between locations. And it includes a brilliant bed! BIG and with a really comfy mattress.

Booked a Premier Plus room on the 2nd floor. Perhaps not really worth it anymore. They have stopped doing the bars of chocolate! Just a packet of crummy bourbons instead. It was nice and quiet even though the hotel is next to a major road. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had the continental breakfast which unfortunately seemed to be much reduced in choice. No sponge blueberry cakes or pain au chocolat. Advertised but not available. Don't know how they get away with that. Should be knocking off a £2 on the cost in my view. Bus stop, back into the City can be found opposite the hotel or more frequent services are a 10 min walk away at the Original Swan Pub. Be careful if arriving on foot as there is no pavement leading up to the reception, just the entrance for cars. Of course we all travel by car don't we Premier Inn?

As always we had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn Cowley. There is plenty of parking, although there is now a charge of £3 per 24 hour stay. In the past parking was free. The stay experience was exactly as you would expect at Premier Inn. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and very courteous. The site cleanliness is good, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The accessible rooms are well laid out, and the staff are always on hand if you need any assistance.

I stayed in a Premier Inn hotel in Canterbury 9th December and in Cowley, Oxford 10th December and the customer service could not have been more different. I always book when available premier plus rooms and in Canterbury the room was clean and warm with water bottles and chocolate. In Cowley the room was cold, not very clean without water or chocolates. I asked in Reception if they could provide some water and was told they had run out. Sorry was not mentioned. Also nobody wanted to find a solution which I offered such as getting water from the attached Beefeater restaurant which is linked to the hotel or buy water bottles for guests from the Tesco supermarket a few hundred metres away. I was told to drink the tap water which was warm. Have stayed in the Cowley hotel a number of times and have not enjoyed good service there. I shan’t stay in that particular hotel again until customer service improves.

Avoid. We opted for the Premier Plus room for 2 nights. After the 2st night we asked to move rooms as there was a sewage smell from the sink. Also the shower didn't hold in place as the bracket was broken and the toilet seat was also broken and moved when seat on. We then moved to rooms for the 2nd night and I have taken photos of the mould around the shower head. Also the coffee machine is broken and leaking water and no water was supplied for the 2 nights we stayed here which apparently is a perk of Premier Plus. We ask reception for the water with which they said they will put in our room and they did not. The attitude of the Manager their is he doesn't give a sh*t.

Firstly there were real issues with cleanliness. Our room had a slug on the curtain, as well as hairballs left on the carpets and cobwebs on the ceiling. Before the 2nd night of our stay I asked at reception for our room to be cleaned, which I was assured it would be, and followed the instructions in the room to put the sign on the door that this had been requested, and leave all our towels in the shower to be replaced. However, when we returned late that night, firstly our key did not work to let us in, and when we fixed this at reception we returned to our room to find it had not been cleaned at all, and our towels were still in the shower where they had sat damp all day. There were also issues with staff friendliness, check-in felt quite hostile, and it was frustrating the length of the queues at 3pm because they had not been willing to get the queue moving a couple of minutes early. As well as this, I was disappointed that despite speaking with the hotel via email to double-check and reiterate a month in advance that I wanted a room with double bed and sofa bed, we arrived nevertheless to find no sofa bed.
