Checking in was chaotic. There was no reception desk at the guest house and I should have been sent an email with an access code for the front door and instructions for my stay. I called the phone number on the booking confirmation. No reply. Fortunately, there was a notice on the front door with a mobile phone number. We got the code for the front door. Our bedroom key would be on the dining room table, with our name next to it. Six keys, none with my name. We called back. Someone came over. He found our booking on his phone and handed us a key with somebody else's name on it. Not the best start! In the end, the room was fine. It was small. The bathroom was small. Both were clean and well equipped. Everything worked. Breakfast was self-service continental style. Lots of choice, plenty of fresh fruit, choice of juices and a proper coffee machine. I'd probably stay there again if it hadn't been for the check in experience.

The room has no air conditioning, and there's no decent shower gel or shampoo, so it would be extremely hot in the summer. Also, the bedside table is very dirty.

Overall, it was a good two-night stay. It's close to the train station. The common areas, including the bathroom, are clean. However, the room was very dusty.
