A few of the reception staff were very helpful which was greatly appreciated! Warm welcome. The tui reps seem to be around alot of the time which is great but they weren't very helpful! One didn't really know much about the area and wasn't very forthcoming to gather answers from anywhere else. Also not many of the excursions offer hotel pick up which could be a problem as the hotel is far from anything really! It cost €110 for a 20 minute trip. The bus route isn't the best,the only option would be renting a car which can work out quite expensive. On the plus side it's a nice place if you literally want nothing to do, nice to have a quiet beach the food was nice! Could of been more organzation which no clean tables available when going to eat. As this is only May I dread to think what it would be like peak season. The rooms were very authentic which was lovely, although the wardrobe had a strong mould smell so nothing was put in it the duration of the trip. Also skirting on the bottom bed would of been a nicely touch too. Overall It was a nice place but very average.

The cooking class was really informative, a lot of fun and the food was delicious. Thank you Exec Chef Lillo and the lovely Spanish TUI Rep who did an awesome job of translating for us!

This holiday was incredibly special to us — it was both our honeymoon and our first trip away together since 2017, so we had high hopes. We’re absolutely delighted to say that TUI Blue Budoni not only met those hopes, but far surpassed them in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The weather was glorious every single day, reaching around 30°C and higher — with just one brief shower that actually felt like a refreshing treat after soaking up the sun! The staff were the true stars of our stay. Every single team member was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about making our experience unforgettable. We’d especially like to mention Alessandro at reception, who not only bore an uncanny resemblance to my husband’s brother but also welcomed us so warmly. He, along with the rest of the team, was a fountain of knowledge about Budoni and the surrounding areas, always ready with helpful tips, and impressively multilingual. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we were made to feel truly valued as guests. The all-inclusive food was nothing short of spectacular. Each meal was a feast, with a delicious variety that catered to all tastes — we often found ourselves going back for seconds (and thirds!) and the desserts were irresistible. Every bite felt like a treat. We took part in several TUI excursions, including a wonderful tour of Costa Smeralda, which took us through the glamorous Porto Cervo and the beautiful Baia Sardinia. We also enjoyed two evening experiences — wine tasting and cocktail making — both of which we’d highly recommend for couples looking to make special memories. We also hired a car through Europcar, available via the hotel, which made it so easy to explore beyond the immediate area. We visited San Teodoro for the vibrant night markets and Posada, where we climbed to the historic Castello della Fava — both absolutely stunning and well worth the visit. We’ve already agreed that we’ll be returning next year with our two young children, as the resort offers so much for families — from the two main pools and splash zone to table tennis, paddle ball, tennis and football courts, and evening entertainment with dancing in the bar. Best of all, our daughter has coeliac disease, and discovering that the hotel caters so well to gluten-free diets gave us such peace of mind. It’s rare to find a resort that makes everyone feel so included and cared for. To anyone thinking of visiting Sardinia — we can’t recommend TUI Blue Budoni enough. It gave us everything we dreamed of for our honeymoon and more. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful and very well maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable for me. The bathroom was good. The room was kept very clean all week by the lovely cleaner. I was in one of the rooms beyond the tennis courts. I liked the pool, it was crowded at times but also not so much at other times. The beach by the hotel isn't the best Sardinia has to offer if you are able to walk 15-30 mins along the coast to the left and the right you will find some really lovely beaches with beautiful clear water my favourites were Cala Cuppetti, Spiaggia di Porto Ottiolu and Spiaggia Salamaghe Budoni (and having a drink at Sala Bay Beach Bar)... I would really recommend exploring beyond the hotel beach. Also hiring a car or going on the TUI excursions to other beaches. The food was what you would expect from an all inclusive buffet. I found that there were lots of fresh and healthy options as well foods to cater to 'brits abroad' taste (chips!). There was always some lovely pasta options and seafood/fish which I enjoyed. The pool bar was good, they were always happy to fill my bottle with water and ice. I am not a big alcohol drinker myself but people seemed happy with what was on offer. The food truck by the pool was great. I only got a few very small mosquito bites during the week, although I don't tend to sit out in the evening when they are about. However do bring repellent. I would recommend bringing a plug cable as there is only one socket.. I read this advice on here and it was good advice! You should definitely take a walk around the local nature reserve forrest park if you are able.. its very tranquil and beautiful views.. see 'Parco del Sole' on the map which is left along the beach. Make sure you look out for flamingos in 'Stagno Li Cucutti' I was lucky enough to spot a few. The staff were friendly and helpful. The TUI reps were also great.
