The hotel has a very nice location, the wellness area is very appealing and the food (all inclusive) was excellent!

Unfortunately, the stay at this hotel for Easter fell far short of expectations for a four-star establishment. Despite explicit confirmation of vegan options during booking and multiple follow-ups, the staff was entirely unprepared to provide meals free of animal products. Apparently, vegans are expected to survive on salad and fries. Promises turned into a daily struggle for basic meals, with numerous issues such as unlabeled allergens, lack of essential options, and staff's inability to handle requests. Particularly concerning were repeated instances of meals incorrectly labeled as vegan, posing a serious health risk. Labels marked "vegan" were placed above dishes containing meat, eggs, and dairy, and the handling of allergens was alarmingly irresponsible. For example, one guest was told that pasta was served with cheese sauce, but it was actually horseradish sauce, among other mishaps. Food trays were merely replenished, with egg salad left on the counter at room temperature from lunch until closing time 🤢. Dinner often recycled leftovers from lunch and breakfast (for days!), so on the third day, guests were served pasta with tomato sauce—despite the tomatoes from breakfast being visibly slimy and stale. The hygiene standards are highly questionable. Does someone need to suffer food poisoning or a severe allergic reaction before proper procedures are implemented? Out of three days, for two days there was no mineral water available at the drink dispensers. The hotel had just opened that weekend, and it was clear they were unprepared. Beyond the food issues, the accommodations were unsatisfactory—rooms were infested with ants and dust, furniture was dirty and outdated, cabinets were falling apart, and beds creaked. Maintenance issues were not adequately resolved, prompting my husband to fix the problem himself. The plumber repeatedly entered and exited the room, frustrated because he lacked the necessary tools (!). Services that should be standard for a four-star rating, such as basic hygiene supplies, were nonexistent. Furthermore, the reception staff clearly did not want to be at their job, and most guests avoided them altogether. It was apparent that they had no interest in attracting regular guests, instead relying on those who "come and go" via platforms like Megabon and similar deals. This hotel has unquestionably failed to meet even the minimum standards for its advertised category and is especially unsuitable for guests with special dietary needs. The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location and the sea view from the room balcony. All in all, it’s best to avoid it entirely.

I was afraid to go to this hotel with a group mainly because of the reviews. Well, I have to say that the hotel, food, staff and services were at a perfect level. The hotel is right on the beach, the town is a 5-minute walk away. We also took advantage of the boat trip to the nearby beaches, and even visited the Zrce party beach. The only things I would complain about were the mixed drinks that were only from the machine and that alcohol was not available all day, but those are just small things :)

We stayed at Hotel Pagus for six days and had half board (breakfast and dinner). The food is a disaster, breakfast is exactly the same every day, and at dinner, 10/15 dishes are also the same every day. for dinner every day: roast pork steak (dry, tasteless), beef in sauce, pasta (mostly in tomato sauce, only once Bolognese) and one type of fish. for a 4-star hotel, absolutely not enough choice and too monotonous. you have to prepare the table yourself. Room cleaning service is differently every day. one day only the trash in the room was taken and the ashtray (the table was not wiped) were emptied, the bed linen was not changed, the next day only the garbage was emptied, the ashtray was not emptied, dust is accumulating on the coffee table and shelves. satisfied with the cleaner only one day in a six day trip. you have to be lucky to have a room cleaned as it should be. parking is (if you're lucky to get it) €10 per day in front of the hotel, otherwise €8 per day in the public parking lot by the coast. the beach is close by and the access to it is well arranged, only the umbrellas and deckchairs quickly run out. In short: the hotel is definitely NOT WORTHY of 4 stars and is absolutely TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get. I don't recommend it.

This was our third visit to this hotel. The first two visits were good, I can't say great, but this time it was awful. It seems to me that the hotel is currently going through a transitional phase, probably new management and thinking about what they actually want to do. The hotel is located a 7-minute walk from the city center, private parking in front of the hotel, which is paid 10 euros per day. Right next to the hotel is a beautiful pebble beach where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas and even if you just use towels it's not bad at all. Upon arrival, a friendly receptionist gave us all the necessary information and services. Upon arrival in the room, the first shock - an unventilated room, no soap, a finger-thick dust under the furniture, a broken cot. Probably related to the fact that I met only 2 maids in the entire hotel. Despite of that rooms are spacious, the sea view is fantastic, you can see the entire Pag Bay. In the pictures, the furniture looks worse than it actually is. I admit - the bed is quite bad, the management should seriously consider refreshing that segment. Cots for children are not charged extra. Last time the food was solid. They bought me with things prepared for small children. A meat and fish menu and pasta were offered every day, so everyone could find something for themselves. The afternoon snack usually offered pizzas, burgers, hot sandwiches, snacks, unfortunately without fruit (fruit are abundant with main meals). Basic drinks, mostly from vending machines, not very good. Cocktails are a disaster. In the all inclusive option, all-day beverages are offered in the restaurant, while in the cafe within the hotel with additional charge. This time, the food was more student-style like we know it in canteens. Almost the same every day, can't say completely tasteless, but not at the level of a four-star hotel. Food that was not eaten the same day was prepared in a different form the following day. There are not enough staff to properly clean the seats, so the terrace furniture is often dirty with bird droppings. The salad is often uncleaned, this time I found a stone in one of the salads, which did not have a beneficial effect on my teeth. This time there were very few offers for small children to eat. In June, the hotel accepted trips of schoolchildren, often graduates, who were accommodated in regular accommodation next to all the rest of us with small children. Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against children who came on a well-earned vacation or field school experience, but when you pay dearly for a vacation, it is unacceptable that you don't place a bunch of loud, enthusiastic children in a separate part of the hotel, or that you don't think about it at all. As a result, at night we heard running in the corridors, loud shouting and even experienced a visit from the teacher in the middle of the night looking for her students in our room (!?). Because of all the above, despite the nice weather,

I believe that this hotel has too low ratings for the service it provides. We were looking for a hotel with all inclusive service because of the small child we were traveling with. The hotel is located a 7-minute walk from the city center, private parking in front of the hotel, which is paid 10 euros per day. The staff at the reception are friendly, a little weak with the German language. The room is spacious, the sea view is fantastic, you can see the entire Pag Bay. In the pictures, the furniture looks worse than it actually is. I admit - the bed is quite bad, the management should seriously consider refreshing that segment. I admit that I didn't get much sleep. If you value peace, take a room on the 2nd floor, because on the 1st floor you usually hear the "elephants" walking above you, which is especially annoying at night. Cots for children are not charged extra. In the evening, a show program is performed on the terrace of the hotel by the restaurant, which you must take into account if you are traveling with small children - it is difficult to fall asleep, and for older children it is a fun end of the day. Right next to the hotel is a beautiful pebble beach where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, even if you use towels, it's not bad at all. There is animation for children, you can also leave children over 4 years old in the "game room" under the supervision of an animator. The food is solid. They bought me with things prepared for small children. A meat and fish menu and pasta are offered every day, so everyone can find something for themselves. The afternoon snack usually offers pizzas, burgers, hot sandwiches, snacks, unfortunately without fruit (which is abundant with the main meals). Basic drinks, mostly from vending machines. Cocktails a disaster. In the All inclusive option, all-day access is offered in the restaurant, while in the cafe within the hotel with additional charge. The staff - applause for the maids, they are kind and helpful, so don't forget to leave them a few euros. The staff in the restaurant are mostly friendly, so I won't spoil the impression with some girls who really don't know what tourism means and especially what it means traveling with a small child (yelling at you because you put soup on your child's plate at 18:58 because "dinner is at 19:00"). All in all a satisfying experience and we will definitely come back.

Went here for 5 nights all inclusive with my girlfriend, the location is stunning, beaches and water beautiful. Lots of nice bars and local food. However our stay with hotel pagas could of been better. Our park view was literally just a car park so we had to upgrade to a sea view. The breakfast options were pretty poor, lunch was good most days but yet dinner had a poor selection too, most of the meat was dry. Also you have to collect your own cutlery . No waiter service at all. The all inclusive drinks were pretty shocking, you have to pour your own drink from 4 bottles of spirits which did not taste good. Cheap nasty spirits, also no half pint or pint glasses to pour your own beer in to, only a silly plastic cup is allowed. Although plenty of proper glasses for the paying customers at the normal bar. It just felt like being all Inclusive we weren't important there or lower class. The snack bar open 1400 till 1600 consisted only of donuts and popcorn. I'll now go on to the room, fridge wasn't working, neither was the air conditioning or the towel rail. The duvet cover was split into 2 . Not even big enough for a child. No plug sockets in the room to charge anything so have to unplug the TV everytime you want to charge something. Overall the staff were very rude and not interested in customer service. The swimming pool is also at the other end of the hotel which is sectioned off, so you have to go up a floor and across through corridors of people's rooms to get access. Bar is one side of the hotel and swimming pool at the other which makes no sense. Also no staff ever to be seen in the spa facilities, how people pay for the spa is ridiculous. I've been all inclusive in lots of places and this was by far the worst.

The stay at Hotel Pagus was great! From food, staff, activities, everything is top five, town is near 2 minute walk by the sea. Special praise to the animators, the children enjoyed being with them. Hope to see you next year.
