The hostel is located a bit further away from the centre but within walking distance! The staff is friendly and helpful! It was clean and quiet in the shared room. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. Every bed has curtains so you can have some privacy! The bed was comfortable enough. I looked through some other hostels in the area, but this one was the best. I definitely recommend it!

I had a really great time at mad monkey! The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I did my laundry, booked a bus ticket back to chiang mai and rented a scooter at the front desk. They oftentimes offer fun communal activities. The rooms were really modern and clean and the individual blacked out curtains provided enough privacy :) the location is not right downtown (but you can walk there in 10 minutes) which I loved bc it was quiet during night hours.

A massive party hostel! Love that they had a gym and pool. If you’re looking for a quite hostel… this is not it. Beds were big and comfortable and lots of privacy. The staff were brilliant and made me feel welcome.

The place is a little far from the city center, but there are cars and motorbikes running at night, so you can walk home by yourself.

Was a nice spot, with nice staff and lots to keep your busy through your stay. And a great way to meet people too, reps were great to planning parties and other evening activities too, highly recommend tipsy tubing great fun and merry way too see some sights aswell
