The Quarter Pai

fell in love with this hotel’s outdoor space. Waking up to the fresh air, endless greenery, and panoramic mountain views was the highlight of my stay. The grounds are beautifully cared for. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or watching the clouds roll over the mountains, it’s a truly unforgettable experience

Located about a 10-15 minutes’ walk from Pai’s walking-street, they offer a shuttle service if you want to avoid the walk. The hotel seems to have been designed as an upscale resort but have seen better days. The upkeep is lacking and aging is apparent everywhere. My room was spacious and comfortable and had all amenities you would find at a 4-star hotel. The bathroom had a walk-in shower that had strong signs of mold. It was raining a lot during my 3-night stay and every time it rained there was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom or right outside the bathroom window. The smell was so bad that housekeeping left the front door partially open every day after cleaning to air out the room. The outdoor areas have concrete paved walking paths across that are very moldy and in desperate need or a power-wash. My room was cleaned daily, towels replaced and water bottles replenished. Breakfast was rich with a lot of choices. Lots of fresh vegetables, fruit and a selection of cooked dishes. I let the kitchen know I was a vegan and they gladly offered to cook a special dish of vegetable fried rice for me.

We stayed at The Quarter Pai for a 2D1N trip to Pai. Overall, the hotel location is really good — just a 5-10 minute walk from Walking Street and the night market. There are also several restaurants and cafés nearby, so it’s convenient without being too noisy. Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was terrible with heavy rain almost the entire time. Because of that, we barely got to use the hotel’s outdoor pool and garden facilities, which was a real pity. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a balcony offering mountain views. It would have been very relaxing if the weather had been better. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was surprisingly good. They have a nice mix of Thai and Western fusion dishes, and the setting overlooking the pool and garden was pleasant. We didn’t try breakfast due to the rain, but dinner alone was solid and good value.

Great location. Room was OK apart from the continuous buzzing sound and bad water pressure. The shuttle service was very disappointing.

The AC wasn't cooling that day, but the staff moved us to a new room immediately. Unfortunately, the new room had a bit of a sewage smell, but it was already late so we didn't mind. The staff were very proactive and helpful. Overall, it was a good stay—great service, and I understand that some issues are just down to the building's structure.

Nice hotel within a walking distance to the centre. Great swimming pool. Rooms are spacious with lots of stuff including robes and slippers. On site there is own parking.

Love the whole place and design.  Wonderful experience during our stay.  Good breakfast and location is So very convenient- only 5 min walk to Pai Wslking Street.  Love it!
