Sonachan House

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Aaron and Leanne for being great hosts and providing us with a lovely two night stay. The hotel is lovely, well thought out, with loads of little personal touches that put Sonachan House above many other places. From the small fridge in our room, fluffy towels, blackout curtains, comfy bed, lots of power points and with USB points to amazing views, this all made for a lovely relaxing stay. We met Aaron on our arrival who was friendly and offered his services, should we require anything. Will definitely be staying again when we next visit Paignton. Great location in a quiet area just a few minutes walk into town . Immaculately clean,well appointed ,comfortable room. Good quality linen and towels . Clear instructions for arrival. Parking on site. Lovely garden area for use by guests.

My husband and i went to the Sonachan Guest House in Paignton, with Son and Daughter- in- law, for a 4 nights stay and what a lovely couple we found there in Leanne and Aaron, nothing was too much trouble for them, the rooms were beautifully clean and the bedding exactly the same, especially the pillows they were the best I've ever experienced when on holiday (wonderful) the breakfast is a continental breakfast which had all you would need to eat, and they themselves as i have said were truly a lovely friendly couple in my book you couldn't want for more, so if you are ever down that way, definitely give them a ring you won't go wrong,, thank you both for our brilliant stay Kathy and Tony Gee

Myself and my children stayed at Sonachan house for the first time a few weeks back and I highly recommend!! The house and rooms are absolutely beautiful and renovated to a very high standard. The room was so clean and comfortable it really was a home away from home. The breakfast was also amazing and the Netflix in the room was a big hit with the kids at night-time. The room i stayed in was lovely, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed, lovely white cotton sheets, lovely soft pillows, duvet nice and cosy. Had a very good nights sleep. The owners Aaron and Leanne could not do enough for you Anything you wanted or needed you just had to ask and they did the best to comply. If not an alternative was sourced if possible. Televisions were provided in the rooms or could be watched on the larger television in the newly renovated sitting room. The breakfast was continental with a very good selection of products. Tea and coffee was available. I would certainly recommend this B&B to anyone who may be visiting this lovely area of Devon. The Air show was on so that was a bonus. Fantastic Display by the Red Arrows. Well worth a visit to Sunny Devon.

Beautifully refurbished guest house with lovely modern decor. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. 10/10 for cleanliness. Aaron and Leanne are amazing hosts who are always willing to help with anything you need. Here they serve a lovely continental breakfast which was perfect for us as we are not into greasy fry ups. Lovely selection of warm pastries, fresh breads, pancakes, waffles. As well as cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and cheeses. They have a wide variety of teas and coffees or juices if you prefer. Absolutely amazing stay here. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and good value for money. You won’t be disappointed here
