This place is so friendly and welcoming. Truly family affair, where everyone is helpful and kind, always quick to advise about hiking, beaches, boats, restaurants. The garden is especially beautiful and original . Breakfast is delicious. The rooms are immaculate and have everything you need. The hotel is pleasantly placed at the quiet end of town.

Beautiful peaceful hotel in a great location for visiting the local beach and dining out. The breakfast was delicious and all the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything you needed for your stay.

Fantastic hotel in a village that reminds me of the the Cyclades 30 years ago. Clean well maintained rooms and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. Easy access to hiking, biking (hotel provides trail bikes) and beaches. I hope to visit again for a longer stay. Thank you!! PS Cafe Almyrida 100 meters down the street serves one of the best cappuccinos i have ever had!

I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Aris hotel - appreciated the reception team researched a local mediation teacher for daily practice - a good base for a solo traveller - good room garden view - clean and comfortable quiet space - beautiful grounds chilled atmosphere in beauty full surrounding - nothing seemed to be to much trouble - appreciate the quiet and peaceful surrounding - professional and hardworking team would recommend at the place to be for time out

We stayed 5 nights. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the port and from the center of the nice village of Paleichora. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is various and good even If I suggest to add more cakes and croissants. The superior room is confortable, but the bathroom is very small, in particular the shower. We recommend this hotel.

Stylish simplicity is the vibe at this delightful seaside hotel. Clean and comfortable room, charming and very helpful hosts, the best breakfast we had in our 10 days in Crete. Hope to return soon and spend more time in and around Palaiochora.

Third year in a row I’ve visited Paleochora and can’t recommend the Aris Hotel enough. Always a friendly welcome, family run and make you feel part of the family while you’re there.beautiful breakfasts, great rooms and being on the edge of town a nice peaceful position. Recognised a few fellow travelers from last year so I can’t be the only one to love this place. Many thank Aris and team, see you again soon I’m sure.

A wonderful, well positioned family run hotel, with friendly, courteous and professional staff who are always ready to help. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the road . It was well appointed with a minibar-type fridge, a/c and ensuite bathroom with a good shower. It was quiet at night and there are blackout curtains for the street lighting. Housekeeeping was faultless. The self-service breakfast, eaten either inside or on a pretty shaded terrace, is a treat and is served until a very civilised 11.00 am. The breakfast staff are cheerful, highly efficient and very helpful with any individual requirements. It is an easy stroll to nearby restaurants and shops. There is a beautiful, well tended garden and a lovely roof terrace. We will return and would definitely recommend.
