A Parada Das Bestas

The whole place by itself is beautiful!! Dining experience is the best kept secret in Galicia. Proud Owner is superb!!!

Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. We were extremely impressed with the two bathroom comfortable accommodations and very spacious layout.

I stayed here last year and was not impressed. This year was an entirely different experience and it is well worth the ride from the Camino to the hotel. The room was comfortable and the food is about the best that I have had on the Camino.

We stayed here during our Camino and could not have been more taken by the attention to detail, charm, and impeccable service at this beautifully renovated property. The highlight was definitely the incomparable Adalberto, who could not have been a more gracious or attentive host. Dinner was exceptional, and we'd highly recommend going a bit out of your way from central Palas de Rei to enjoy the peace of this place. It exceeded every expectation!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel based on a friend's recommendation. We loved the view from the window, the friendly staff, and the delicious food. You can walk around in the small, beautiful & peaceful town. Highly recommended to everyone who is planning the Santiago de Compostela.

We were booked here by Marly Camino tour. The rooms are adequate- comfortable beds, reasonably sized bathroom. The hot water is enough but can be inconsistent in the shower- it was not unusual to get little bursts of cold water while having a shower. However, the meals provided were delicious- the owner chef gave us 2 great dinners and breakfast was a good spread as well. Well worth it just for the food!
