Holiday Inn Express & Suites PALATKA NORTHWEST by IHG

Room was bigger and nicer than expected. It was great! The only thing I didn’t like was the shower/water/tub. The water drained slow so you stood in water while showering. Also, it was difficult to pull the tab to turn on the shower. Almost pulled off the tub spigot. But maybe that’s just an issue in room 210.

The sofa and chair in the room was filthy. What the we paying for more space that we cannot use because we weren’t touching that furniture

The staff is very welcoming when you arrive. They were attentive and wanted to make sure I had an excellent stay. They assisted in explaining to me how the laundry machines work that are on property. too. The room was excellent. Extremely clean. My room has the kitchenette which had dishware and utensils. The outdoor area with the BBQs was very nice. Breakfast was ready on time and was delicious. Plenty of food to choose from. The dining area was clean and plenty of seating. Parking is free and right on premise with plenty of spaces available. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay near the historic area of Leesburg. It's been my go-to hotel for this area. This is my second stay here.

This hotel needs significant upgrades. The rugs are worn, dingy and dirty, the "decorating" is not tasteful (to anyone), the pool towels were old and small, breakfast was subpar, the mattress and pillows were awful and you can hear everything in the hallways and in the adjacent rooms. The staff were friendly, but that is not nearly enough to justify a $216/per night stay. It felt like a motel, but it certainly was not as cheap as one.

Very peaceful and smooth check-in. That breakfast was so hot and so good.

The staff was very helpful, kind, and friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok. As a vegatarian, there weren't many options. The bed was super comfortable and the room was cozy.

Clean room, great breakfast, good customer service

Excellent facility, clean and spacious rooms, convenient parking, loved the round the clock hot coffee and fresh baked cookies during the day. Fantastic value and friendly staff.

Very clean room. The updates are really nice since the last time we stayed. Surprisingly quiet. Tall ceilings and lovely breakfast. Large room to spread out and comfortable bed.
