Art Lincoln

The room was spacious enough and very close to the train station, located on an old street with an inconspicuous entrance. The facilities were rather old. The staff were quite friendly. However, it might be inconvenient if you arrive at night and don't speak the language.

Palermo...!!! It's something... What a wonderful city! I fell in love with Sicily because of it, and because of the Art Lincoln Hotel. What wonderful people work there! Even without speaking the same language, we communicated perfectly and understood each other, constantly joking around... The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the train station. Most of the sights and the embankment are also within walking distance. The hotel is very quiet; you can't hear any noise outside, which was very important for relaxing after a busy day. I recommend it.

Pros: - location is a 5-minute walk from the railway station, from where buses go both to Palermo airport and to other cities - the street looks quite safe even in the evening, but it’s difficult to call it clean. The area is generally unattractive - it’s convenient to walk both to the center and towards the sea. There is a nice park nearby (Villa Giulia). On the way to it (on the side of the hotel), there is a good bar-pasticeria Bar Touring (cocktails, coffee, a large selection of cakes and pastries, ice cream) - the room was quite clean upon check-in (there was a room with an entrance from the patio). I saw photos from other reviews, in my case everything in the room was fine and in working order - a good, fairly powerful hairdryer in the bathroom - breakfast is not the most delicious and varied (boiled eggs, cheese, a couple of types of cold cuts, toast bread, jam, yogurt, croissants), but you won’t go hungry Minuses: - poor sound insulation (you can hear everything and everyone, especially from the patio). If you are a light sleeper and go to bed early or get up late, take earplugs with you - during 4 days of stay they never did cleaning or took out the trash - the room had a large table and 4 chairs, but there wasn’t even an electric kettle or cup to make tea - the staff at the reception is almost never on site, most of the time it is locked.

The property for a short stay is normal, with a good location. The room was clean. As for the amenities in the room - the bed was uncomfortable, the mattress was sliding out, my back hurt in the morning, the sheet had a small hole, the air conditioning in the room did not work, it was cold, but there were blankets. Breakfast is monotonous, very little choice. The service is loyal at the hotel, the staff is friendly.
