"It's a beautiful resort with extremely courteous staff, perfect location, calm and green atmosphere, and superb (actually extremely comfortable) clean rooms. Everything was well placed and we enjoyed our 2 day trip to the best. The staff, the Manager, and the chef, Shri Dineshji, everyone was extremely hospitable and we would surely love to visit the place again. Some shortfalls: There are few things they need to improve upon: 1. No recreational activity available as shown on their web site, though they told they are in process of developing it. 2. The food choices are extremely limited and for a resort of this much cost, the choices should be vast. 3. Just for the rooms and without ANYTHING EXTRA, like cultural program, or gym, or kids area, or bon-fire, I am not sure if it is value for money. But of-course, the pure Rajasthani food which they served on demand was THE BEST LOCAL FOOD WE HAVE EVER TASTED."

"We spent two nights here and found the lodge to be lovely. It’s a family run property , with just few rooms , surrounded by greenery and relaxing corners . It is very well maintained , extremely clean and peaceful. Very relaxing was the pool area as well as the room dedicated to reading. The bedroom was spacious , equipped with everything you need ; biscuits and small snacks were always available with coffee and tea . It was a lovely touch to find every evening on the bed ,before going to sleep, little notes reminding us the place we were in! On the first day we were the only guests and Mr Vikram, the owner , was incredibly attentive to us , truly a special person. Sitting on a swing near a small garden Mr Vikram had planted , I enjoyed a lovely conversation with him that made me feel at home . Together with 2 guides , he accompanied us on most of the safaris we did , providing detailed explanations not only about the reserve but also about the entire area ; he shared with us his deep knowledge of the place with passion and together .with the staff , he was always ready to respond to any of our request . The chef always prepared delicious non spicy food for us , just as we had requested ; we were always satisfied and we loved having breakfast under a tree in the small garden in front of the dining room . The reserve is very nice and the jeep ride over the rocks was incredible. Unfortunately , during our 4 safaris we only saw two leopards , and from quite a distance , but the guides did everything they could to look for leopards , and even though sightings were few , they helped us appreciate the beautiful landscapes the reserve has to offer. We took advantage of one of the activities proposed by the lodge and visited the Rabari shepherds to get a glimpse of local life , which we found interesting as well as the the sheep shearing . Bijaipur lodge was a nice experience that we truly feel we can recommend. Anna and Francesco from Italy"
