We stayed here for 10 days and would definitely visit again. The coach transfer from the airport was 1 hour 20 min, longer going back. The reception was up a large flight of stairs. We were in room 222, we had the new a/c but the room was not updated For the 3 of us, the room was plenty big enough with a large balcony and enough storage space. If you have walking difficulties please don't visit here. There are no lifts, lots of stairs to climb and the hotel is situated on a hill about 10 minutes from the town The hotel and the area was so clean. Food was nice. Luve cooking dish every evening and at breakfast. Limited all inclusive drinks. Lady who use to clear around the pool worked so hard. Plenty of sun beds, no morning rush ! The 4 poster sun bed s were so comfy ! British were the minority at the hotel. I did mention to the restaurant manager that the soap dispenser wasn't working in the ladies, but no soap was replaced. The small water park was good for kids and big kids like me too cool off in ! Pool was a nice temperature and you were allowed inflatables in there. We used the mini bus to the beach. Not all of the beach is stoney, so look out for sandy bits ! Luck lucky men on the beach or lining the beach in the night. Ate out 3 times at local Greek restaurants. Couldn't keep room on last day as told hotel was full luckily we could shower in another room. It was an upgraded room so we saw what we could of had ! Restaurant manager had his staff in order. My daughter and I did aqua dance and darts. The 2 staff work very hard, shame no entertainment in the afternoon. I would suggest when the evening entertainment finishes, to play low back ground music. Had a lovely holiday, miss being back home and would definitely stay here again

After our long transfer, My wife and I were both quite travel weary. We were greeted at the Hotel Atrium by very pleasant reception staff. They advised that due to the restaurant closing in half an hour, we should have our lunch before we checked in. After lunch we paid our Room tax which was ten euros per day. We were informed that our luggage had already been taken to our allocated comfort double room, number 314, which was up spiral external stairs on the third level. The room was basic, it had a double bed, television, a small refrigerator and a safe. There was a small clothes rail with hangers. The curtained shower was a little small but adequate. There was a good sized balcony overlooking countryside, which had a table and two comfortable chairs and a clothes drying rack. We spent most of our holiday in the beautiful pool area where there was always plenty available sun loungers. Each day the pool was open from ten o’clock in the morning until eight in the evening. There were always lifeguards on duty. We enjoyed watching the children having amazing family time here. There was only one bar with a limited selection of drinks that were included in the all inclusive package. The bar staff couldn’t have been more friendly and efficient. The hotel restaurant was quite small and busy. The staff here were pleasant and well organised. We occasionally needed to wait outside until a table was available. The tables were a little too close to each other, making it awkward for us to carry food to our table. Unfortunately, we found the hotel food bland and repetitive. The hotel’s free courtesy shuttle bus service, to and from the beach ran each day except Sundays; every hour from ten o’clock until six in the evening. Our biggest disappointment was the poor air conditioning system in our room 314. We later found that in about half of the rooms, the old inefficient air conditioning system had been replaced. Unfortunately, the old system in our room just seemed to recirculate the warm air, regardless of what setting we tried it on. Although the bed was comfortable, due to the very hot weather and difunctional air conditioning system, our sleep quality was very poor. We tried opening the doors during the night to cool the room down. However, by doing this, we invited pesky mosquitoes into our room. My wife and I would not rate this hotel as four star. We would rate it as a two star hotel, with a four star pool. We enjoyed meeting some lovely people during this holiday. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more pleasant, friendly and efficient. We would recommend this hotel for families with young children. However, I doubt that we would return here unless we were guaranteed a room with efficient air conditioning.

Deposit for towels, €10 each, that's fine. But they charge you €1 per towel when you want to change to a fresh one You have to pay for water in an all inclusive hotel, which is crazy, you can have as many free local drinks and alcohol, but water you need to pay for. Because the water from the machine they give you taste bad and salty. The management needs to get rid of the young lady with the curly hair and many tattooson her arms behind the bar, she is bringing your customers and business down. Always I'm a bad mood, and never says thank or welcome. Very rude, if you ask her for anything she responds with attitude. I know everyone agrees as I have spoken to other guest about the same. Food was fine, different everyday. Breakfast and lunch was good. Dinner was a mix, fish option (not options) was either overcooked or not edible and covered in tomato sauce. Nothing labeled during dinner on the left side of the restaurant where the hot food was, no allergens, nothing. So be careful with that. Animation team were good for entertaining the guests but not good in with the kids club. Avoid unless your polish( polish kids get special treatment) I left my child I'm for 1.5 hours and the lady was sitting in her chair texting the whole time. My daughter was upset afterwards and said the animation team did not play with her or talk to her. Polish is the main spoken language of the hotel. And if your polish then you get treated different ( animation staff polish and hotel manager polish), I love polish people, but the hotel should not treat their guests different because they are not from the same region. Room was good and always clean, and the cleaners did a fantastic job. Night porter was very good and helpful at reception. The staff and the rules really let the hotel down. Please take into consideration this review and I hope changes will be implemented as I know the issues I raised have been said before. Regards

The welcome at reception was pleasant. Our group had several rooms and all were of a different standard and age. However, they were regularly cleaned. Superior garden view means a patch of grass and the perimeter road. The hotel staff are okay with the exception of the annoying 'boss'. He does all jobs and appears to give regular bollockings in public to the staff. Limited cocktails, smoothies available at an extra cost, coffee not pleasant to drink. Food purchased is of a better standard than sitting in the all inclusive restaurant. The restaurant is hot and loud with drinks minimal.... TIP - in the evening go to the bar before you eat. We attempted to leave with food and sit outside (somewhere quiet) however, it wasn't allowed - by the 'boss'. Time to make reasonable adjustments 'boss' we are customers which you appear to have forgotten (more scared we were going to feed the bed and breakfast customers than our satisfaction). We managed a week but couldn't have done any more. We've been but won't be returning.

hotel is generally clean with daily room cleaners, fresh towels and bedding etc. there are some renovated rooms, and some which are dated, which is just luck of the draw I believe. There are no lifts and a lot of steps, especially if you’re not placed on the ground floor. This hotel isn’t the best for disabled people, mobility issues or people with pushchairs/ prams or very young children. One comment on hygiene/ cleanliness that I have noted is that there is absolutely no hand wash / soap or any HOT running water in any of the toilets for guests to use. I found this alarming, especially in the Restaurant and bar toilets where handwashing should be promoted. The hotel is situated on a very steep hill around 20 min walk from the town. WOW WOW WOW getting back up that hill is not for the faint of heart…. or unfit people… there is a free daily bus that goes to and from the beach numerous time each day, except on Sundays when the service doesn’t run. This is great, but the last bus back is at 18:15, so not great if you want to go to the beachfront for dinner or drinks, as the only was back after this time is to walk, or get a taxi, which would cost around €10. Around the pool and pool areas are also clean, but rarely hosed down (there was a spilled Coke on the ground near the pool for the whole 2 weeks we were here and never washed away). There is no sunbed wars or reserving sunbed which is also a plus. Food is very repetitive, breakfast - your usual Greek continental, plus eggs, bacon sausage, tomatoes, beans. (No pancakes or waffles, despite being advertised as “American breakfast”). Lunch and dinner - always chips on offer, and spaghetti bolognaise, a couple of forms of meat, but nothing like you should see in other 4 star hotels. No fresh BBQ meats, or accompaniments to meals, Eg, no burger buns for burgers, and no pitas for gyros pork. At dinner time, just around 8 Bain-marie hot options, and around 4 salad options. The lunch snack menu offers a ham and cheese croissant, sometimes a small bread roll sandwich and the driest cake you’d ever taste. Also to note that the snack bar (consisting of 3 meagre offerings) isn’t self serve, you have to request the bar staff to serve you what you want, which is generally very slow service, considering that they have to also serve drinks on the other side of the bar. Also to note that it’s clear the bar staff dislike English (especially the stocky-man with dark hair and dark beard, and the slender girl with long brown straight hair - generally working together and spend their whole day shift flirting and chatting), as when you request food from the lunch snack station, they also hand pick the driest end peaces of cake for English, and when I felt the cake, and gave it back as it was dry, the girl just rolled her eyes and put it back into the display to give out again - I hope this wasn’t a reflection on her food and bar hygiene. The manager is like a hawk at meal times, watching over staff and r

Hotel Atrium is located on a hillside in the Halkidiki peninsula in Greece, just over an hour away from Thessaloniki, and the hotel has impressive scenic views over the village of Pefkochori and the sea. The hotel looked as good as, if not better than, the photos online. The view over the sea was absolutely stunning, making for a truly beautiful setting to relax at. While we traveled as a couple, a standout aspect of the hotel is how family-friendly it is. The hotel's entertainers were lively and welcoming, with a variety of events catering to both children and adults throughout the day and evening. While a fantastic spot for families, couples or solo travelers should note that there aren’t any designated adults-only areas to unwind away from the buzz of family activity. Our room was another highlight — spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with an excellent shower. The balcony at the back provided a peaceful spot to relax in the evenings and enjoy the sunset. The hotel seemed very well-staffed, which meant we rarely had to wait for anything. Whether at the bar, restaurant, or reception, service was prompt and friendly. There were also plenty of sun-loungers, chairs, and tables available, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy the facilities. The dining experience is a little mixed. The quality of the food is generally high — particularly the fresh Greek cuisine — but the variety is quite limited. Lunch, in particular, offers noticeably fewer options than breakfast or dinner. After a few days, the menu began to feel repetitive. While the village of Pefkochori is just a short walk away (with a shuttle bus running throughout the day) with plenty of alternatives for dining, this does detract from the value of the all-inclusive offering. On the plus side, the all-inclusive bar had a good range of drinks available, with premium spirits available for a little extra. Overall, Hotel Atrium is a wonderful hotel for a break in the sun, and particularly well-suited to families. The combination of scenic location, closeness to Pefkochori beach for a day out, and a well-run and clean hotel offers a highly enjoyable stay.

We just returned from a five night stay here and had such a nice time. We traveled with my three year old Daughter, who I think the hotel catered too very well. There are three pools, with one being specifically for children and also there's a kids splash park on site which doesn't turn on a lot. There is a mini disco every evening at 8:30 which my Daughter loved so much, the staff are very friendly and make a real big effort with the kids. Warning in the evenings, you will get very bitten by mosquitos, so cover up! Our room was very modern and cleaned daily, we had a very standard garden view room and the view was so lovely. We had a little cat that visited us often and we loved it. The wifi is really poor and you won't get much signal in the rooms (I guess depending where you are). We wanted to watch a bit of TV in the evenings as we were with a small child, but even the standard English channel was really glitchy and we couldn't use the wifi to watch or download anything. The all inclusive was really good, options were changed daily and there was so much to choose from. Lots of fresh salads, fruits and dishes to choose from. The main thing that lets all inclusive down is the drinks, they aren't great. Very cheap sugary drinks, not branded. You can access all drinks from the bar all day, and pour yourself options at breakfast, but annoyingly at dinner you have to order it a cup at a time. I do think a water dispenser you could use all day would be great. I can't comment on the alcohol as we weren't drinking. Ice coffees throughout the day were great! The staff are all superb here, reception staff are fantastic and so lovely. And all the waiters and servers, so kind. We spoke to the f&b Manager a few times, as well as the owner as we had the smallest misunderstanding on our first evening. Both were absolutely lovely and couldn't be more apologetic (even though it was such a minor issue which didn't need any extensive apologies, too boring to explain the story). We came in May and it was really peaceful, always sunbeds available everywhere and nowhere felt over crowded at all. The weather was glorious too. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill, but it's a very steady incline so you could definitely take the 10 min stroll to the town, however there is a shuttle bus that will take you there and back also. The town has everything you need, and really reasonable prices if you wanted snacks/ souvenirs. There is also a taverna about 5 mins walk downhill which looked lovely but we didn't get a chance to try. The shuttle will do two drop offs, one at the town, the other at the beach which is not far either. I am heavily pregnant, and was with my three year old and Mother and we managed to take the stroll back to the town from the beach. Beach is stoney so would recommend swim shoes, but water is super clear and beautiful. Overall we loved it here, I think the hotel is very close to it's four star rating and I would definitely go back. We booked
