Barceló Aruba - All Inclusive

The staff here are amazing. The food not so much… even the specialty restaurants aren’t great. It’s also absurd that we are limited to 3 nice restaurant reservations when we stayed for 6 days. The individual restaurants are ok the buffets are pretty much bad most of the time. The location and rooms are nice and like I said the staff are great. The only problem is the amount of specialty reservations allowed and the overall taste for most of the food. I saw some conflicting reviews about the food before booking and was concerned. For everyone else seeing these let me be clear, if you’re a foody look elsewhere. If you’re not picky and as long as it’s OK go for it.

Excellent location, great amenities, accommodating staff, secure (lots of security), games, swim up bar, nice selection of food at buffets & the Italian and hibachi restaurants were the best!

We loved everything about this resort! Location, well maintained, food was great, beds were comfortable.pool was beautiful .The staff was super friendly. The only thing missing for me would be an outdoor tiki bar before or after dinner. We will be back someday Barcelo!

All the staff was friendly and helpful. Had a fabulous time. Definitely glad we brought floats. We stayed in the water all the time. Buy sunblock a higher number than you usually use.

Food and staff were great. Front desk could be better. Long wait after we checked and just needed room number a couple of hours later. People started making their own off to the side and staff took them first. Very frustrating. Our was delayed and asked for an hour and a half later checkout. They would only give me an hour. Really? Seemed petty. Also with late checkout they didn’t give me a late checkout card. Wrist band wouldn’t work. Housekeeping staff was trying to help but thankfully my husband was in the room

Everything was beautiful and the housekeeping staff was incredible. The food was not tasteful at the buffets or the restaurants. Location was convenient to everything.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was super tidy and clean. The food and entertainment were very good. The pool and the bar with the easy beach access made it a great place to stay in Aruba. Highly recommend for anybody traveling to Aruba to consider the Barcelo.

No washcloths, had to tell front desk twice about towels needed, bugs in salad at buffet, room service not included unless royal level, room smelled musty, black mold in bathroom, patio door couldn't open, no conditioner for hair, shampoo was horrendous, pool was disgusting. Property needs to be updated majorly. Location is great, food good service okay for the amount of money spent expected better.

Hotel is in a great location because it is across the street from the main downtown shops/restaurants. Also it was great to go back and forth from the beach and pool all day. Swim up bar is in a great location for a beach day or pool day
