The Villas Palm Cove-Private Pool in Each Villa

We recently stayed at apartment number 5, and while the service we received was excellent, the apartment itself was a bit of a letdown. The staff were very responsive and helpful. When the kettle and washing machine stopped working during our stay, they arranged for replacements quickly and without any fuss, which we really appreciated. Their support definitely made the situation much easier. However, the apartment itself was quite dated and didn’t match the photos we saw on the website. The décor and furnishings were tired, and overall it lacked the fresh, modern feel we were expecting based on the listing. It wasn’t terrible, but it felt more worn than advertised.

Clean apartment aside from the floors, which were quite filthy and not mopped. I have noticed I can no longer enjoy the comfort of taking my shoes off and walking through most rental apartments barefooted and expect clean feet. I think most people don't bother with the taking dirty outside shoes off before entering even their own home. But c'est la vie.

The Villas was a lovely place. Staff very helpful. The only con was it was a long way to go to restaurants. The walk would be ok for young to medium aged people but a bit too far for older people.

Absolutely great place all fully self contained and secluded and to have your own private pool just brilliant will highly recommend this place to others

We stayed at The Villas Palm Cove in March 2025 and highly recommend them. We travelled with our teenage daughter and elderly mother and everyone had their own very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Such a beautiful Balinese styled Villa we were in (Villa 18) with it's own plunge pool and daybed, outdoor lounge area and 2 outdoor showers, we really loved it and felt so comfortable. We were a bit concerned because of some of the earlier reviews but found out the resort has been under new management since mid last year and our experience with them was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The main pool area is lovely and so are the tropical gardens. We found the resort so lovely and quiet and the people we did see very friendly. The Villas are only half an hour from the airport and the centre of Cairns so very convenient and so close to Palm Cove Beach (5 min walk) which is gorgeous and has so many top notch restaurants and cafes and the main Surf Club in the centre of town is always buzzing and a great place to have lunch or dinner. We caught the courtesy bus up to the Ellis Beach Bar & Grill as well and they had live music on, was also great. Also went to Yorkeys Knob Boat Club, such an awesome spot with delicious food. Port Douglas is also only half an hour away for the markets on Sunday too. We loved it so much we've booked to stay again later in the year.

Staff were amazing, accommodation was perfect with everything you could possibly need. Our stay was amazing and would highly recommend
