Absolutely outstanding experience. Stayed for 4 nights - Mon-Fri in June in Room 107 and booked directly. Requested low floor as read previously long wait with the lift (9 floors one lift). It was perfect never having to wait for the lift. We had complimentary bubbles, mini bar, welcome drinks and nice surprise with outside terrace. Room is very clean. I never walk around hotel room bare foot but had no issues this time. Room is spacious, bed is sooooo comfy! Air con temperature and air flow is perfect and bathroom is very spacious, lots of room around the sink. Note no single use toiletries, if you need anything like I did with shower cap, just ask at Reception. Staff are all attentive and polite. Wifi is very easy to connect and never disconnects or signal issues. I understand what others have said about the breakfast / does lack variety but has all the staples. Never a queue for anything at he breakfast bar. Tip with the cappuccino - add an extra expresso shot for oomph. Turkish bath/jacuzzi was a nice touch but no swimming pool. Art is personal taste and yes the corridors had a black theme not to everyone’s taste but just in and out the hallways. Enjoyed the lounge area on Floor E - great for people watching and relaxing with a drink. Also, the A1 to airport is opposite the hotel (5 second walk). Journey takes 25 minutes. It takes 15 mins to walk to main station for bus/train or generally around 20 minutes within the city. The big department store is 5 mins away (huge supermarket in the basement), 15 mins to the cathedral. Made it in 30 mins or so to the City Beach. Very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay here again and any other HM Hotel branch. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Tax needs to be paid, which may be city construction tax or other tax. I paid 5 Euros for three nights... The environment is very good, without a kettle, disposable slippers, disposable comb, toothbrush... You need to take port 1 to the airport, which needs 5 Euros.

We enjoyed our stay in Be live Marvient in december. Great value for money, delicious food and lovely staff. Some rooms would need a bit of restoring but hotel is already working on 3 floors and preparing for the season.

It was my first time to Mallorca for a holiday. I was recommended by my friends to stay at this hotel. The hotel is adjacent to the private marina, and not far from the cathedral. It's convenient in transportation. The service quality and hotel facilities are very good. It's worth recommending.

We had a 3 day business event at the Victoria Gran Melia and were very happy with the organisation (thanks to Marta). The meeting rooms very spacious and really nice and as they are located in a different building to the main hotel it was quiet and we had the place to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful and extremely flexible when break times had to be changed with very short notice. The rooms we had overlooked the marina and were also very spacious and comfortable. The only point I'd mention is the check-in. We had 50 people and everyone had to give their passport details as well as a credit card. This could be sped up by having the team upload the information prior to arriving but due to GDPR rules we weren't allowed to collect passport details. The receptionists were unfortunately very slow and some had to wait more than 30 minutes to check in. But apart from that we can highly recommend the Victoria Gran Melia for business purposes as it's also a mere 20 minute stroll along the marina to the centre and the concierges are very helpful with organising taxis.

We spent three nights here mid May. A lovely, relaxed few days in a great hotel. We will return. Staff friendly, beach in front is great, beds are super comfortable, lovely views from our eighth floor balcony. Yes Cala Major is not the most upmarket place but the hotel is on the outskirts and as far as we could see the first location from Palma centre that has a proper beach rather than a marina view. Ten mins by taxi to the city centre. Hotel restaurant was great for dinner when we arrived late at night and a final lunch before we left. Breakfast was great. Two minor points- firstly our toiletries in our room were not full, they should be filled before every guests arrival I feel. By the end of our stay getting hair conditioner from the pump was a five minute job!! Secondly breakfast buffet (superb choice) needs small plates and spoons need to be laid on the table with knives, forks and coffee cups. Minor points. We will return, we have decided it will become our child free mini break spot!

There are extra beds, sofa beds, enough for children to sleep. The environment is very good, there is no parking lot, but the hotel is surrounded by free parking spaces, it is worth staying, the location is very close to the beach and very close to the central area of Palma. But the best beach in Mallorca is in the northwest, here is the southwest.

we chose melia palma bay because it was close to the beach. we had a very comfortable family room (2bedrooms 2bathrooms). everyday we asked reception for beach towels and headed to the beach which was 5 min walk away. we either stayed on the towels on the beach or rented beds from Assaona beach club (amazing food). another convenient feature was a bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you straight into the city centre/shopping area in less than 5 minutes. i never figured out where the bus stop back was so we ended up circling the whole city on the bus on the way back. special shoutout to staff at reception - thank you, you were so so nice and helped with everything!!!

Just returned from a 4 nights stay at this hotel. WOW! I do not stay in fancy hotels usually so this was a real treat. We received a voucher for a welcome drink which we enjoyed on the rooftop pool area. The pool area does not have a lot of Sun loungers so keep this in mind if you want to be able to sunbathe. We booked a jacuzzi room and had read a few negative reviews about it. The rooms are incredible! They get sun most of the day, yes they are overlooked by apartments but the people don’t stare down. Yes you can see over the wall to the rooms next door but once you are lying in your lounger or in the jacuzzi it’s absolutely fine. The rooms were immaculate with lots of nice touches like free water, robes and a really good hairdryer. The breakfast was amazing!! Lots of variety and good for setting up for a day of walking around. The hotel is close to Jaume III shopping street and around 15 mins from the Cathderal. We took the bus to Cala Major beach which was around 15 mins. The hotel staff were really nice and the place was so clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

This is my second visit to hotel Gloriasauntjaume and it really was as good as, if not better , than I remembered. The location is just fantastic , literally a stones throw from all the key areas yet in a quiet street . The facilities are superb with : A fabulous roof terrace to enjoy coffee , lie in the sun , cool off in the plunge pool with jacuzzi or to have a cocktail ( I really recommend the Gloria cocktail of vermouth /cava) watching the sunset over Palmas church steeples/ roof tops. ( my default on this trip!) Better still when the sun sets move to the indoor pool and spa area - these facilities are just a real luxury that you really do not expect to find - with pool , sauna, steam room and loungers you can continue to relax and unwind !! Hotel rooms are just beautifully and stylishly furnished /decorated in the period yet practical incorporating Bluetooth sound systems and smart tv systems and great lighting - I was lucky enough to get allocated room 103 on this occasion with 2 huge floor to ceiling 12ft windows with balcony and free standing period bath with art deco lighting - but my previous room allocation was equally grand I didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant this time for dinner but I heard great things from a fellow guest - what I can testify for are the breakfasts (and cheese board)- the quality and presentation of every item was just first class and the cooked menu choice just superb- a taste sensation !! BUT as always it’s the team at any hotel can make or break an experience and this team are just soooo accommodating - from my initial enquiry and throughout my stay each and every person I met ( reception , bar staff , breakfast staff , chef , room service and maintenance ) were genuinely friendly and welcoming wherever possible anticipating my needs - a special mention to Laura from breakfast , Lisa from the bar and of course Daniela and the other front of house staff ( apologies I didn’t get all your names …but each one of you enhanced my stay in some way ) Just a fabulous hotel - the hotel manager should be very proud of the team they have !
