Good to stay

The hotel parking fee is $17 per day. There is no mineral water in the room, but you can get mineral water in the lobby on the first floor. The location is very good. There is a free shuttle bus to Stanford outside the hotel lobby. We took the shuttle bus back and forth and parked at the hotel.

This is my second time staying at this hotel in San Francisco. I chose the same room type. The room is spacious and comfortable. There is also a small open-air balcony outside. It is very pleasant to bask in the sun occasionally!

The location is great, a five-minute walk from a small square, convenient for shopping and dining. Parking is 20 RMB per day, and access is very convenient with your room card. The hotel staff were a little less welcoming, but that didn't matter. I later moved to the Sheraton next door, which I felt was better value, nearly 1,000 RMB cheaper. The two hotels are adjacent and share the parking lot.

The room facilities are outdated. The bathroom and room size are good. The swimming pool is small and the gym is relatively large. However, you can share the larger swimming pool and dining room of the Sheraton next to it.

To be honest, it is different from the general Westin. The hotel looks a bit rustic from the outside, the room is OK, the breakfast has few varieties, and the overall price-performance ratio is average. Of course, it is understandable that every inch of land near Paluto is expensive.

The room is quite spacious, the service attitude is good, but the room was cleaned too late and the workers went off work. There is free bottled water downstairs, which is the only hotel that provides water during the whole trip. Thumbs up 👍 There is also a kettle for supply, which is a must for Chinese stomachs to drink hot water. In short, I had a good experience staying for three days. It is very close to Stanford, and there is a community center next to the supermarket, which is very convenient. It is very comfortable to walk there.

The most expensive hotel I stayed in during my entire trip to the US West Coast Breakfast was $23, not bad; Free water is available at the front desk; You can ask for an electric kettle and toothbrush at the front desk, but the toothbrush is not good, with hard bristles and soft handles; The room is also big enough, and it is free for two adults and two children.

Clean, tidy and sanitary

The room was OK, I remember it a little too long ago. The main reason was that the Wood next door was out of rooms, so I went to Westin temporarily. The bed was more comfortable, the room was higher than Wood, and it was not so depressing.

This is a hotel that is seriously inconsistent with the publicity and reviews. As for the star standard, I don't know how it was rated. Although it does sell at the price of a star hotel, in fact, it is only at the level of Home Inn in China, not even as good as Atour. First of all, the first picture of the hotel's exterior on the homepage has nothing to do with the hotel. Its appearance is just an extremely ordinary small building with a very small area. There is no public space and parking lot. There is no elevator to the underground parking lot. The luggage needs to be brought up from the basement by yourself. There is no concierge or doorman, and the so-called Chinese service is even better. Secondly, the space is extremely narrow, the corridor is only 1.2 meters wide, and it is like a maze, which is very inconvenient. The lobby is extremely small, and the swimming pool is extremely small, but it is better than nothing. Once again, the rooms with damaged facilities are still sold. When we just checked into our room, we found that the toilet was clogged and dirty. However, after negotiating with the front desk, they just said it was up to you. It was impossible to change rooms. They could only unclog the toilet for you. So a worker went in with a leather bucket and fiddled with it for a long time. After that, none of us dared to use it again. As for apologies, the hotel did not apologize at all. They did not feel embarrassed at all. I stayed in more than ten hotels during my vacation in the United States this time. This is one of the most incredible hotels for me, because it looks very high-end from the publicity of Ctrip, but in fact, the quality of hotel facilities, personnel services, work processes, etc. is extremely low and incomprehensible. The only advantage I can think of: the quality of the disposable slippers in the room is worthy of its so-called star rating.
