"Clean hotel and good location"

Grand Sya Hotel
9.2 (10 reviews)

Grand Sya Hotel

📍 Jl. Sam Ratulangi, Besusu Barat, East Palu

"When I checked in, the person in front of me took a long time to sort out/find a solution. I waited quite a while, even though there were other staff members who should have been able to help me. The hotel interior seems to be heavily inherited; these days, the TVs are still manual. The chairs in the room are already unusable."

Aston Palu Hotel & Conference Center

📍 Jl. Wolter Monginsidi No.60, South Lolu, South Palu

"Nice hotel, strangely organised and doesn't feel cosy but pleasant none the less"

📍 Jl. Basuki Rahmat, Kec. Palu Sel., Kota Palu, Birobuli Utara, South Palu

"The room facilities are relatively old and the corridors and rooms have a musty smell. In this city, there are really no good choices."

HOTEL KEMBANG JOYO

HOTEL KEMBANG JOYO ★★★

📍 3VPG+HC4, Jl. Emmy Saelan, Tatura Selatan, South Palu

"For this low price, this hotel is the best deal you can find in Palu. However, I don't understand why they don't charge around Rp 50,000 more, including breakfast. There's a nice room with chairs and tables that wasn't used the entire week of my stay. A delicious breakfast could be served there. When I leave my hotel in the morning, I can't find breakfast anywhere nearby. All the foodstalls don't open until the afternoon. So if you stay here for a few days, you'll really have a hard time finding breakfast. Like everywhere else in Indonesia, this hotel doesn't have any information about tourist attractions. Dear management, take a lesson from your neighbouring countries Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as Bali. Almost all hotels there have brochures with information about tourist attractions and motor cycle and car rentals. Indonesia has beautiful nature and many tourist attractions, but knowledge about tourism is completely lacking throughout the country, except for Bali. Stop blaming the government for not investing in tourism; start with yourself. In Thailand, locals collaborate to provide tourist attractions, transportation, and guides. Everyone benefits by offering food, drinks, souvenirs, and so on. But in Indonesia, no one seems to understand the importance of tourism. It's a real shame, because by doing nothing, poverty remains widespread in this beautiful country."

"A well-maintained four-star hotel in Palu city. The room is spacious. Well maintained facility and service: swimming pool, gym, spa. Nice lobby - good to have a pond inside the lobby. Delicious breakfast with the menu changes everyday. Easy access to/from the airport, just less than 15 minutes. Many nice coffee shops within walking distance from hotel."

"Bathroom cleanliness needs to be improved, and water and other toiletries should be taken care of. The bathroom floor is also slippery. But the view is top-notch."
