Very good hostel. It's a bit far (20-minute walk) from the city center, but they offer activities like tours, which is a nice touch. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, though.

Nice facilities, dorms were spacious, it's a party hostel so it can get fairly loud, relatively far from most things.

I had conflicts with my hotel bookings and end-up staying at this hostel instead. I stayed at the men’s room good for 4. We were only three during the stay. One was a foreigner from London and the other one is a Pinoy from Tacloban who was in Bohol for the international fun run and who was a loud snorer. Oh life in a hostel. But overall, the stay is still good considering the cheap price.

I didnt like the noise from generator near family room. And loud music during the day, too much. The Food was good. The Beach was not for swimming, you need to go to Alona. But Alona is more noisy.

The design chosen for our Panglao property features a nipa hut, which is inspired by traditional local roofing designs and aims to capture the authentic vibe of provincial homes here in the Philippines. On the downside, noise insulation is affected. To help mitigate any discomfort, we provide earplugs to our guests. Additionally, we do go to great lengths in our online marketing, videos, and room descriptions to make it clear that we are a party hostel. For this reason, we will tend to be a little noisier; midnight marks the beginning of the quiet hours. Thank you, and safe travels!

Extremely dirty, ended up check in out and booking another hotel in the middle of the night.

Affordable, fun, and lively! Mad Monkey Hostel exceeded expectations. Enjoyed the foam party and welcome drink. Only drawback: 1km from Alona Beach. Recommended for budget-conscious travelers seeking a social vibe! 4/5 stars)

I went there early morning like 7 am they gave me check in that time I am so happy with the service really nice people and whole empty room for me

The hostel was clean and had activities in the evening to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to meet with other stayers. The only downside is that it is far (about a 20 mins walk) from the main area of activities (Alona Beach) and that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

Everything’s perfect. The room is soooo clean. I like all the staff there, especially Pedro, he’s extremely friendly and sooo kind. I would definitely come back here again.

this is my first time staying in a hostel and all is worth it .. get to meet new friends .. their staffs are really nice .. a lot of fun activities and free drinks !! super worth the price 😍

My stay at Mad Monkey Panglao was amazing! The vibe was fun and lively, perfect for meeting new people and enjoying the social atmosphere. The facilities were clean, and the pool area was a great spot to relax during the day. The staff were friendly and made the experience even better. The location was convenient, close to the beach and local attractions. If you're looking for a fun and budget-friendly place to stay in Panglao, I highly recommend Mad Monkey!
