Beringgis Beach Resort & Spa
"We had a lovely stay for 2 nights, right by the beach and it had a fab pool. The rooms were lovely and so were the cocktail. The only down side it was next to the function room and was a bit loud on the evening"
Ara Dinawan Island Resort
"It is a tent-style hotel, but it is not the small tent we have in China. The interior is very large and well-equipped. There are so many corals on the island, and it is worthy of its name Coral Island. We asked the housekeeper if we could bring a small amount of small corals through customs, and we did bring them out. The projects on the island include snorkeling, sampan, small kayak, sea fishing, and billiards. The snorkeling spot is not far from the pier, and you can see a lot of fish and live corals. Of course, you have to dive a little further. My skills are not good, and I can see 5 or 6 fish basically floating on the sea. In fact, you can see a lot of fish without snorkeling by the pier, because the water around the island is very clear, not inferior to the glass sea of other islands. You can go sea fishing at night, but when we went there, the fish hooks were used up by the children who stayed in the previous wave, which left some regrets. You can watch the sunset on the other side of the island. The housekeeper will take you there on foot, and there are large areas of corals. On the day of check-in, there were only three of us who enjoyed the quiet private island, and there were only 7 or 8 people who went island hopping. Of course, this primitive island also has its shortcomings, that is, there are many insects, some of which will fall on you and crawl on you at night, and the housekeepers don't speak Chinese and sometimes can't find you. In short, the experience is great"
Seaside Travellers Inn
"Near hotel in sea there is a building of new resort on artificial island"
Borneo Eagle Resort
"The resort is beautifully situated and spaciously laid out. There are 14 villas; we rented a Cral Villa. The villa was wonderful at first glance, very large and beautifully furnished. All essential amenities were available (AC, refrigerator, two TVs, etc.). First impression - great. There are a wide range of leisure activities, a very large pool, gym, etc. However, many of them require a fee. The restaurant is simply but stylishly decorated; the lounge is rather bland. The food is quite good, but individualized due to the given situation (see below). The staff was very friendly and helpful! However: - the resort is very dated, and many things are in dire need of renovation. For example: dozens of small pool tiles have fallen out, some of them lying on the bottom of the pool. In the villa, there is significant mold and rust, etc. (see pictures). Apparently, this has been recognized, and renovations were underway in many places. The biggest problem was housekeeping. The toilets weren't cleaned once in three and a half days! The same applies to the bathroom fixtures. There was neither soap nor a towel in the guest restroom. This is just one example of the deficiencies. There's a lot to be done."
