Overall a good stay. On the positive side, We found that our hotel room was maintained very clean! The facilities and grounds were just ok. The breakfast was excellent! The drinks at the hotel bar were not very good and during our stay we found it impossible to get chocolate ice cream… also a tip.. if you wish to find a sunbed at the pool then you shouldn’t hand in the towels and wake up early to go and reserve your place!!

Overall it was a nice hotel with a good pool and the food was tasty. We were bed and breakfast and decided to eat in the main restaurant (katoi) for one of the nights. On the large restaurant booking screens we saw there was an a la carte menu with lots of reasonably priced meals (circa €15) so planned to have this. When we turned up they said there was only the buffet available (€33) which was quite expensive, but we couldn’t go anywhere else in the hotel as it all needed pre booking. The staff had never heard of this menu.
When we checked in with our toddler we were hoping there would be a cot in the room already. There wasn’t so we called for one, which we were told would be right there. An hour later nothing had turned up, so we rang again and were told it would be there after we returned from dinner. When we got back there was a bed being set up which was totally unsuitable. We had to ring again by which time it was ages after her bedtime.

It was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful room until our first night when we went in to the room and found a cockroach. Next morning we told them but they didn’t anything even they didn’t apologise. And the other negative is that the light in the room is not enough for doing a simple make up. I didn’t see any thing in the mirror. And was my first time ever I asked for the key for the refrigerator. Never happened to me in any hotel I went all this years.

Azia Hotel was a wonderful hotel, very clean, neat and the ladies at the reception and spa were very friendly, kind and helpful. The Nepalese chief was incredible too.
The entertainment was tacky and inappropriate (fire show man asking ladies to sit on him; front & back) and the music was too loud.
We are definitely coming back to enjoy a chilled weekend away. The views from our bedroom were incredible too. Hopefully with better entertainment.

We loved this place, its spacious premises, its restaurants & cuisine, its great and professional service, and beautifully designed rooms! We had a good luck to live in one of the small houses located closer to the seaside. Our room had a big terrace and an amazing view. We will return for sure 😃. One shall take into account, though, that although the beach side is nice, swimming in the sea is not very comfortable due to big stones in water. It even might become dangerous, when there are big waves. We didn't care, but this may be an issue for those who like to swim in shallow waters.
