Ramada by Wyndham Princess Paramaribo ★★★★
"Clean and convenient. Safe for children"
Spanhoek Boutique Hotel ★★★
"Not bad, quite clean"
Yogh Hospitality ★★★★
"Best hotel in Surinam!!! For this price is very luxurious"
Courtyard Paramaribo ★★★
"Decent hotel for Paramaribo but not exactly up to Marriott's standards. OK facilities, service could be better and very expensive price."
Royal Breeze Paramaribo ★★★★
"Environment: Located in the city center, near the bus station, it's a bit nerve-wracking at night with many people loitering around asking for money. It's safe during the day. Facilities: Somewhat old. Cleanliness: Overall acceptable. Service: The front desk staff speaks excellent English. Breakfast is decent, and the service is good. One of the recommended taxis was good, but the other driver demanded a higher price and used deceptive tactics to extort money. Very dishonest. See the last picture; be extremely careful and avoid this scam. The sky lounge on the sixth floor has a great view. Drinking water is available in the lobby. There are security guards at the entrance."
Dolfijn Studios ★★★
Unu Pikin Guesthouse ★★★
"It was a nice and quite place with good personal who are very helpful. I enjoyed every night after an busy schedule of the ambiance and fresh air. When I come back I will definitely stay there again. A lot of supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby and you're privacy is guaranteed."
Royal Torarica ★★★
"Very satisfied during my stay"
Torarica Resort ★★★
"The Torarica Resort is a very good hotel. The property is very expansive close to a beautiful river, and it also adjourn the Royal Torarica hotel. The staff are very friendly, they know their stuff, very professional and always wear smiles on their faces. The food in thd hotel is very hood and the portions are on the very large sizes. The only downside is the booming music coming from one or two specific bars and lounges directly opposite the hotel. The noise kept us awake most of the nights, with thunderous shakes of the windows. The hotel management must engage the government to either move the clubs or limit their unnecessarily loud music to the daytime."

Waterland Suites
"It is hard to say positive things about the Waterland Suites but in truth it is not all bad. On the positive side, my room was large with a comfortable bed and a sort of kitchen area that included a kettle and fridge. The bathroom was okay with lots of hot water in the shower and both the a/c and wifi worked fine. There is a small pool at the back that was clean. Unfortunately, the not so good things outweigh those positive aspects. Firstly, the hotel is oddly situated in what seems to be a suburban area at least 15 minutes by cab from the central city area. It is so far out that it in an area that isn't even officially classified as Paramaribo. The building is wedged tightly into a walled compound. The view from my ground floor room was first of window bars and then coiled razor wire on top of the fence which was at most a meter from the window. It was very dark even in the blazing sunshine. There was a bedside lamp with an EU plug while the power outlet was US configuration. In other words, the lamp was purely decorative. There was no restaurant and none were obvious nearby. The reception area was very small with one 2 seater couch and there was nowhere else to sit that wasn't in my gloomy room. Dogs howled all night. Although we were supposed to stay 3 nights we left after 1. "
Villa Famiri Boutique Hotel
"Nice ambiance with very nice staff. Good location. So very satisfied. You need a car or taxi but thats very easy and cheap"
Holland Lodge Paramaribo
"This was our first time in Suriname and we were blown away by our stay at Holland Lodge. 1) The staff was exceptional! Before our arrival, they helped us with an airport transfer (the airport is FAR from the city, spring for the transport!). During our stay they helped us do laundry for a reasonable price, helped us order food when we arrived late, and also helped us book a dolphin cruise last minute. Even more so they went above and beyond. I got a pretty nasty infection the day before we left for the interior and Sherona helped me find a doctor, called her on my behalf, and helped me set up the my appointment- truly incredible service! Then we ordered food a second time and were told by Pizza Hut they would take my visa credit card upon delivery. This was untrue but Lucy at the front desk immediately stepped in, paid him in cash on our behalf and put it on our room bill- absolutely amazing service! 2) This place was CLEAN- like clean clean. The sheets were spotless, the room was white glove clean which we really appreciated. 3) Breakfast- Breakfast was 12USD to add on which seemed steep but it was so nice not to worry about it in the morning and the food was fantastic. We truly appreciated our stay and the staff is truly who blew this place out of the water! Incredible. We hope to visit again!"
Max Garden and Pool
"Suitable for business people on business trips"
Greenheart Boutique Hotel
"The friendliest and most helpful management and staff you can hope for. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and well presented. The coffee is outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel."
Q-Inn Boutique Hotel
Sheva Hotel
"Stayed May 13 , 2024 for 2 nights. It was a horrible experience. I was unaware of US$100 deposit . My hotel and transportation was prebooked by my local agent in Guyana.when i arrived after a long journey the lady at front desk said i needed the deposit even though my accomodation was prepaid otherwise i could not check in . I was left in the lobby pondering my next move as she said i could not get refunded the already paid for the room.i tried to negotiate with the lady to hold my credit but did not accept . I am not a local i was eventualky forced to venture to get money from my card . After about 2 hrs i was checked in. Day 2 no water in the shower nor handwash sink no apology from the manager nor front desk. I informed the desk i will be checking out at 3: 30 am in the morniing, she said no one will be at the desk at thst time. I had to make a decision to catch my flight or wait for the deposit of $100 . I left withour my deposit and i forgot and left with their key.For the key they are still pending a balance of 1375 srdfor me. Managemnet and front desk are very rude. I slept on a stained bedsheet..Didnt complain because already had a bad checkin experience"
Guesthouse Amice
"I enjoyed the warm and friendly owners and staff at Guesthouse Amice in Paramaribo, Suriname. My room was thoroughly cleaned daily. They served a nice breakfast every morning. I had to be in Suriname for my research, and especially after business hours, it was nice and quiet, allowing me to work effectively in the late afternoon and evening. Although I did not make use of it, many guests used the refreshing pool on very hot days. I recommend this location to anyone looking for an alternative to a big hotel when visiting Paramaribo."
Happy Holidays Style Residences
"Nice host."
Amalia Apartments
Hotel North Resort
"Very and very unfriendly staff!! Rooms smell unfrishing, toilet hidden, washing box hidden in the kitchen, many locals, breakfast suggested three times nothing!! No words suggested. I advise no one to this. For me and my family certainly no repeat. But I'm ashamed that many people will read this."
