501 Hotel

Stayed during a group tour. It certainly has potential, but it needs a good renovation and reorganization. I read on the site that it was recently renovated but not the rooms we stayed in (we changed two due to the problems encountered) Among the positive aspects are the dinner and the sea view. Breakfast definitely needs improvement due to the poor variety of options; furthermore, when we arrived at 8, we found the trays almost empty and they were only partially refilled

It was a nice hotel in the 70s. It has remained almost the same. And that is not a compliment. Aside from the structure that deserves a more decisive overhaul than the one they claim to have done years ago, the services provided are no longer up to the standard of a decent hotel. In the room for two there is only one towel and one bath towel. We thought it was a mistake, but our friends in the other room also received similar treatment. In the breakfast room, no one to welcome you and when you approach the counter to ask for a cappuccino, the staff ignore you and happily continue their conversation. The hairdryer in the bathroom is just powerful enough to dry slowly, certainly not to style your hair with a brush. The welcome kit is limited to the essentials. Don't even think for a moment about slippers. In the minibar there are two solitary bottles of water. In the corridors the carpet is worn and in some places even torn. Website "under construction" (who knows when and who knows for how much longer). In conclusion, from a renowned hotel to a decadent hotel that is absolutely not up to its 4 stars. Those who stay there may well think that Calabria must make a leap in quality in terms of professional hospitality. Urgently.

Hotel in an excellent location with a splendid view of the coast..2-star breakfast..no comment on the carpet..a plate of chicken breast with potatoes, a cutlet with potatoes and a plate of pasta for lunch will cost you "only" 80 euros..very kind and professional staff.

"Hotel 501" is a hotel with large spaces not enhanced, old and dirty furniture, the room a suite with carpet gave me the feeling of dirty and heavy furniture not fresh breathtaking view.
