We recently stayed at the Aqualand resort for 7 nights, we were travelling with our 7 month old baby. I’ll start off with the positives, the room is spacious and modern. The tv is great and has built in YouTube (thank god for Ms Rachel)! The water park is great and the selection of slides and pools are excellent. The hotel is just a 20 minutes drive from the airport which is amazing when you’re travelling with young children and have been on the go all day. The hotel itself has a little mini market which has literally everything you could need (although there is a super market down the road from the hotel which is much cheaper!) we got a taxi to corfu town one evening, reception arranged the taxi for us which arrived and was lovely. The journey is €35 each way. If you’re planning on going, the veranda is a lovely place to eat and the views are incredible! We had 2 rib steaks with fries, 2 beers and 2 cokes and the total was €46!! Definitely recommend. The hotel does offer a free bus to Corfu town which you have to book a day in advance. You can go in the morning and get collected later on in the day or get the bus there in the evening. They also offer a free bus to Glyfada Beach. Would definitely recommend visiting it’s a beautiful busy beach with snack bars and restaurants, there is also a mini market there too. The only negatives I have to say about this is the bus drops you off at the top of a hill and the walk down is abit steep with a buggy and belongings. This can’t be helped though as the bus physically can’t drop you any closer. The restaurants own the sunbeds on the beach too and charge to use them, we paid €40 for 2 beds for the day. The bus picked us up at 9.30am and collected us at 16.15pm so you get all day there. It’s only a 20 min drive so not far at all. so on to the negatives... On arrival we were told our room wasn’t ready so had to wait around, which isn’t a huge problem but when you’ve been travelling and want to get your stuff in the room it’s annoying. And considering we arrived after 2pm we thought we’d be able to go straight to the room. We didn’t get in there until gone 4pm. The air con worked but wouldn’t turn off unless the key was taken out which was useless when we were in the room, the room was freezing, we asked reception to send someone to fix it and he didn’t speak much English so couldn’t understand our issue. We ended up either being roasting hot in the room or freezing cold there was no middle ground, which meant our baby was really unsettled during the night. The room had a strong sewage smell which was not pleasant. We stayed in apartment block 12 which is right next to the main road and is VERY noisy, the cars go past so fast and loud that they were waking us up. We were also woken up numerous times by noisy kids and adults, as soon as the entertainment is finished and everyone is heading back to their rooms it’s so loud, one evening there was kids running around screaming until gone midnight. I literally

Absolutely amazing stay I am so sad to be home now, the kids had the best time we had a 5yo 7yo and two 14 yo and there was something for everyone, the staff were amazing especially our rep Jenny loved our chats, the rooms were clean, and perfect, only ants outside on balcony just keep your door shut, highly recommend Theo boat trip, the only thing was the food wasn’t great but you wouldn’t starve, we actually found a great little burger place along the road and went there once, nice for a change of scenery highly recommend for family’s with kids all ages, the water park is class and the wave pool there is too much to mention, don’t mind the bad reviews trust me you won’t regret it. Our holiday on 20th May to Aquland Water Park and Resort Corfu, was appalling. The hotel has an ant infestation (you will find them across the resort and in your bed) advertised facilities were not available, food was awful, staff rude, building works going on, glass around the wave pool, rude and unhelpful TUI Rep who didnt even turn up when she was supoosed to, the wave pool water was dirty, we were offered a room to shower in and get changed (which were unisex toilets/showers being used by swimmers which were filthy and soaking wet and the doors had no locks so anyone can just walk in mid shower. We arrived at 11pm and was offered toast as all bars were closed as was the mini mart so left hungry all night. The hotel cannot cope with the amount of guests, you will be fighting for sun loungers and queuing for everything and getting sunburn in the meantime. It was truly awful. Raised a complaint with TUI and they handled our concerns with ignorance and no effort to resolve anything. They have repeatedly sent the same email saying they are sorry for our experience and our concerns have been taken seriously, which appears to be a template email, that they like to send. Avoid TUI and this hotel, they do care about their customers once they have your money.

It has it all for a family, friendly staff, swimming pools, a bar, entertainment and very clean comfortable rooms. On arrival it wasn’t ideal as we booked through EasyJet and they had made some mistakes in the initial booking, which although corrected twice through easyJet, they never followed this up with the apartment complex. Our rooms were not adjoined, instead two different apartments, lucky enough this wasn’t an issue for us as a family as we had an additional adult with us to help split the family. We were told this could may be fixed with the manager the next day, but we didn’t chase up, we were content and happy with our rooms as they were, giving us two places for ease. The site isn’t large so it wasn’t a stress. The food was of large variety and what we felt of a good standard especially considering the amount of people it was feeding every day. Menus changed through out each day and every day. There was something for everyone. The swimming pools aren’t heated, but in these warm weathers it’s a refreshing cold dip. A nice outdoor bar serving a wide variety of soft and alcoholic drinks. A snack bar also providing toasties, cookies, hotdogs, fries and a good selection of help yourself tasty ice creams. The entertainment was comical, but serves a purpose, another small bar that continues serving the beverages. For a budget all inclusive, this was exceptional. The newly refurbished apartments made it feel even more value for money. Would we come back? Yes

The only good thing about this hotel is the waterpark access. Rooms whilst modern lacked any effective storage facilities for any clothes- 2 drawers and 5 coat hangers for a family is not ideal. No sound proofing either, noisy neighbours did not help matters. Food was awful, constant repeat of dishes. I contracted food poisoning following undercooked meat served at the restaurant. No a la carte restaurant available. I cannot understand the comments whereby people have rated the food 🤢. Location poor, minimal facilities nearby- however the pizza place is fab down the road and the supermarket was great and much better priced than the mini market on site. Entertainment was poor on the evening that we would often have movie nights in the room. This is far from a 4 star hotel and a 10 euro charge per night is an insult. You could not pay me to return to this establishment.

Aqua land resort We were so sceptical about this holiday after the negative comments on Facebook and some Tripadvisor. The transfer is only 20 minutes and we were welcomed at reception, everything was explained to us and then we were given our keys, tourist tax for the room Was €10 per night. We had a family deluxe room which I was very surprised and pleased that it had an en-suite and for those light sleepers no windows in the upstairs bedroom makes for a very good nights sleep. The Appartment 2515 had recently been modernised, had a small balcony and the air con worked well, there was a safe which is free and a small fridge. It was close to both pools, the restaurant and the lobby bar. There were reports of a sewer smell but we did not smell this, the resort is clean and tidy, the holiday makers let it down by not tidying up after themselves and we witnessed cups around the pool, which in turn attracts ants, another issue people had reported. The food, yes it’s buffet style, but I can honestly say, as a family of five with three fussy eaters had absolutely no problem with the food. Fantastic salad bar, plenty of fresh choice, with none of us going hungry and the staff work hard clearing the tables. The staff are very friendly and polite, especially if you can learn to say thank you in Greek. The evening entertainment was not for us, a bit loud and not the best structured, but for young kids maybe. The water park is amazing well laid out plenty of ringos and again the staff are polite and respectful, we holidayed during the May half term and to be honest we did not queue for any of the rides, just be prepared for plenty of steps. The downsides The resort is in the middle of nowhere, no bars, restaurants, beech or harbour insight, plenty to do during the day, but we felt a little trapped at night. Overall I would recommend Aqualand resort.

The staff were very nice, had a great time and Willy was very helpful and very kind and made us all laugh. There were a lot of food options and a variety of activity’s for different ages. Over all we had a very good time staying at the Aqualand resort this half term and will hopefully be coming back soon some time in the holidays.

As someone who tends to not have the time or energy to write reviews after a holiday i had to come and make sure I wrote one about this hotel as this was a truly amazing holiday. Rooms: we stayed in one of the upstairs apartment rooms, there was a downstairs with a bed, pull out bed and sofa with lots of storage and tv. Upstairs had a lovely double bed with good storage too. The room was cleaned daily and the cleaners did a fabulous job. Food/Drinks: I am the fussiest eater and can honestly say I never stopped eating all holiday. The meat on the grill was always cooked to perfection, there was lots to choose from at all meal times and I never found it ever cold. The snack bar was good for light bites especially for my son when he didnt want to stop playing and I liked that the ice cream was help yourself and not rationed like some all inclusive. Cocktails were good and bar staff were really friendly, maybe could do with one or two more at busy times. Pool/Waterpark: pool was good size and always found a seat and the waterpark was really amazing. So many slides to choose from, plus a giant wave pool and lazy river. My son loved every bit of it. Entertainment: I loved that through the day they did different things like a pizza party for the kids. Evening entertainment was ok, we were sad we missed the Greek night was on the Monday we arrived but the other nights were your usual all inclusive nighttime entertainment. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for us especially the girls on the reception. Hope to return again.
