My honest opinion on Aqualand village Corfu advice and reviews which I’m entitled to after paying £4.400 for my family of 5. I’d like to start off on what wasn’t the best and things that the complex definitely need to improve on and finish off on the good bits that I always like to do. Firstly the rooms are pretty basic but not bad with a fridge which never got stocked up with drinks which normally happens at other complexes ants were an issue and not nice to deal with. Soft Drinks around the pool and in the restaurant where nock off drinks so limeade instead of sprite roller cola instead of decent coke cheap orangeade instead of Fanta things like that. The main restaurant was the worse I have seen after visiting 14 other all inclusive holidays I have been on it was like a school canteen which I have no idea how it kept up the demand of the people visiting there. The food selection was terrible especially for children not enough variety again for the price you pay you would expect more very disappointing! I bit into a raw chicken nugget on day 2 and it put me off eating for a while. The snack bar was tiny and struggled to keep up with people wanting food waiting in lines for things was annoying in the heat! everyday it was the same thing hotdogs and bags of chips with a few toasties or wraps which ran out fast. Another annoying thing was self serve ice cream people putting there hands and fingers in tubs of ice cream which other people had to eat from was a big NO kids poking there noses liicking their fingers and men with hands down there shorts going in for it No thank you. Other resorts do small tubs of unopened ice cream which you can take away. Also you had to pay extra for slushies and pay for food and drink in the water park, which is attached to the hotel so believe you should be able to have drinks at least as you have to go all the way back to hotel for a drink! Ants around the wave pool was a massive problem so many millions!! Entertainment on a night was the worse I have ever seen or none excitant which I found baffling just family’s playing cards or UNO shocking!!! We love our football and the place you could have a kick around was always locked only open every so often I mean why you can’t leave the gate open and unlocked all day to let the kids and a few adults play football I found again baffling! Once you were in there was stones all over the pitch and holes in football goal nets they need updating! The arcade place was to small with outdated machines in there. I was constantly left thinking this hotel has one thing on their mind and that to make as much money as possible off thousands of families and you don’t get much back in return. The good points all staff worked really hard and do a great job in all their respective roles. Cleaners, bar staff, life guards. The wave pool is what catches your eye when you first book along with the waterpark and they didn’t disappoint both were the highlight of the full ho

I'd say prisoners have a better meal than they provided here it was awful. 3€ if you want a slushie and charge after a certain time for drinks. The only good thing about this hotel is the water park. Children's entertainment was awful only on for half hour. Everyone we asked about the food said was awful.

Rooms basic food cold and awful, dirty and welcome notice stating no food or drink in rooms . All inclusive no available in waterpark which is good value and clean and snacks chips or tinned hotdogs only . People complaining that tui trips have added costs.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL FOR LONG STAY!!! For the kids entertainment they have a half hour disc and the restaurant holds 50 people max with a choice of 4 options. Stay in another hotel and come here for the water park for the day. One of the worst hotels iv been to in years and will never come back

Fantastic holiday at aqua land. The hotel room was basic but fine. Good air con. Decent shower. Deducted a point because our bed was awful the first night - really squeaky every time we moved and rock hard (like sleeping in a table) however the hotel team promptly changed the mattress and gave us a soft topper which resolved the issue. The food buffet is fine, kids loved eating beige meals and we had nice range of foods. Lovely salads in the evening. Would have preferred fresh fruit at breakfast, but not a problem. The wave bookable restaurant is just a smaller buffet but in a quieter location so a bit more relaxed. The snack bar at the pool had hot dogs, toasties, ice cream and chips. We ate lunch here every day! The water slides were fun, and my kids loved the wave pool! Good lifeguards making sure everyone stayed safe. Plenty of sun beds. The evening entertainment is ok, but the entertainment team are amazing! My kids followed them around like the pied piper, great fun. No wasps or ants like previous reviews say, but we got eaten alive by mosquitos sitting in our balcony one evening. We stuck to the bar after that! We went on a trip to Corfu town on the free bus, highly recommend this as Corfu town is beautiful and worth a visit. We also went on the Tui boat trip to Sivota, which was well worth the money and a really fun day out. Highly recommend. I would come back again, thanks for a fun holiday :)

We have been to this resort 5 times now. The Hotel has undergone some redecoration and improvements such as decent aircon, better hot water supply/capacity. The food in the buffet restaurant was very nice. There is plenty to choose from with normally 3 or 4 meat options, chips, potato, rice, pasta and a selection of veg. Always salad on offer, bread and a good choice of desserts. The buffet manager is Nik and he was extremely helpful with my daughter who is Coeliac. He arranged for her Gluten Free meals to be prepared seperately and brought out to her which was amazing. The wave pool has been re painted and the whole hotel and water park is generally very clean and tidy. The reception, bar and buffet staff are all very helpful and mostly speak excellent English. We took the public bus in to Corfu town twice which was pretty easy. There is a free hotel bus but it leaves at 1545hrs which was a bit early for us. Room tax payable on check in. €7 per night, per room. €5 returnable deposit per pool towel (the blue ones). Also have to pau for use of the safe in the room. Cannot remember that cost. More renovations to the rooms and furniture are due during the off season before 2025. We will be going back!

Just back from 6 days here (June 1st 2024) and we had the best holiday. Loads to do for Children, adults and teenagers. Staff are so friendly and helpful from lifeguards to bar and reception. Food was lovely and the waterpark and pools were fantastic. Special mention to Brian from the animation team. He made sure everyone had a great time during the day doing games in/around the pool and at the entertainment at night. The place was so clean and we had no issues with ants or wasps as others have mentioned in reviews. We will 100% be going back. There is a great little shop on site and one a couple of steps up the road. We got the bus in and out of Corfu town a few days and it was 20 mins and a few euro each. Corfu town is beautiful and well worth a trip. I'm not sure why other reviews are so bad on here. We were worried going but had the best time.

20 min transfer from the airport. Handy things to know about the hotel beforehand are - Maisonette - Sofa bed (double) and upstairs bed are comfy. Plenty of pillows. Air conditioner on each floor. Beach towels are €5 each (deposit) you get this back when they are returned at the end of your stay. You can swap them every day at reception for fresh towels. Tennis/football and basketball courts are €20 deposit to hire for an hour but you get that back when you return the key. There is a free bus daily to both Corfu town and the local beach (Glyfada beach) . You book this the day before at reception. You can book a packed lunch to go as well (cheese sandwich, fruit & water). 20 mins journey for both. If you choose to get a local bus, this is €2 for an adult and €1 per child each way. Bus stops are just down the road to the right. Maybe 5 minutes walk. Corfu town and Glyfada well worth the visit. Good little shop and ATM on site. Park is very to the letter with the slides. The ages and heights are stuck to religiously and you can’t go with smaller ones to get them on anything bigger. It’s a fully functioning water park. A day trip there would be €48 pp with TUI but you have access 11-5 daily with this hotel for free. However, drinks etc in the park aren’t included in the all inclusive package. We never found this to be a problem. So many slides for all ages. Lazy river is lovely too. Pools at the hotel are great. The wave pool is so much fun. The Wave Tavern restaurant can be booked the day before at reception. It’s included on the package but needs to be booked. The main restaurant is open 3 x a day. Buffet food has been good. Snack bar is open during the day as well. It’s surprisingly good. Self serve scoop ice cream available at the snack bar and in the restaurant. Lovely cake shop 5 minutes to the right of the hotel (before the bus stop). It’s a must! €1 coins required for practically every kids game/machine in the arcade. No change machines so save them as you go along to use at night. Mini disco is very very loud. Sets off my Apple Watch every time. Usual tunes but it’s run by a DJ rather than a few kids club staff like other hotels. Kids club have a few things on. My son did football on day while hubs watched. Will add the timetables for things below. Local spirits, local beer, mocktails (2), all juice/fizzy, coffee and the following cocktails are included - Blue Lagoon, Tom Colin’s, tequila Sunrise, pina colada and Cuba Libre. They are poured fresh (not from a machine) but aren’t shaken etc. Blue Lagoon was a treat! 🤤 You can order mojitos etc but they are at a cost. Hope this helps. I know this is the kind of review I look for when booking a hotel… so thought I would pay it forward. I would recommend this hotel. It’s been excellent and I’m sad it’s almost home time.
