First of all the welcome was horrendous a group of locals staring and not saying hello my partner was really ill and I tried to call when I got through the owners son didn’t care in the slightest and said if I can’t get the flight out I’ll need to find a different hotel

Firstly Parga is beautiful, unfortunately this hotel is far from it. 4* definitely not...I'm being generous at 2* Yes the hill is extremely hard going (we we're well aware there was a STEEP hill....but this is on another level....then we had 85 steps to the room, on a positive we had a lovely view that's the only positive. The room was a decent size however it was extremely lacking...so dark....poorly decorated cheap furniture definitely no attention to detail. The bathroom well....the least said & all that.....again so dark two little spot lights over the mirror...the shower cubicle was so small you can hardly move in it & basic beyond belief....I'm only small 5ft & struggled. There's no in room information whatsoever let alone hotel information, then again this hotel has virtually no facilities outside of the pool area whatsoever....spa....in their dreams....what looked like a hot tub at the side of the pool which was never uncovered....wouldn't have liked to see what was inside if it had been. The pool area to be fair is fairly nice however the sunbed cushions were never removed when it rained so we're soaking wet. When it comes to food....breakfast lacking....very basic & not hot...kept warm with a few tea lights which constantly blew out...as for anything else 💁🏼‍♀️ no menus or anything advertising what if anything was on offer. The staff that dealt with breakfast & bar etc were very pleasant& friendly. The cleaners worked hard however I definitely didn't appreciate being 'told off' for putting our towels in the shower for changing. All in all this is one hotel I would definitely not recommend for us utter waste of money....you're certainly not getting what you pay for....in desperate need of complete overall. One other point when it rains the steps & that hill are very slippery & poorly lit at night.

We stayed in the resort for 1 weeks. We thought on our 8th visit to the resort we would try a different hotel. Here’s the good … The rooms were nice, clean and the cleaners do a fabulous job each day keeping them that way The views from the resort are fabulous Here’s the not so great. …. The wooden sun bed frames need revarnishjng and are tatty, the mattresses also need a good clean The breakfast is certainly not what you would expect for a “4” star resort ! The cups for breakfast always looked dirty so I took my own to breakfast, the hot food is pointless, greasy square bacon, some eggs that taste like egg custard, tiny inch hot dog sausages and some pastry thing kept warm by 5 tea candles. That’s it for warm food and it’s the same every day. Not a scrambled or fried egg to be seen all week. There’s some cold items like yogurt, meat and cheeses. Even the orange juice wasn’t fresh orange. The 4 guys that seem to run the place seemed more interested in what they were doing on their mobile phones than want to communicate with you and it felt an inconvenience if you asked for a drink from the bar. There is no sign of any menus for lunch time meals not even sure if they did them the kitchen always looked locked up? The hill ….. its steep! My husband slipped on the way down when it had been raining. When wet it’s a death trap. !! So slippy ! 4 stars ! It’s not !!! We have stayed in much nicer 2 star hotels in Greece. Would we return, probably not, you need a special experience to make that climb to the hotel worthwhile. !

The stay was disappointing... To start with, I think it's DISGUSTING that staff secretly stand at the bottom of the stairs when you go upstairs as a woman wearing a dress! I arrived at 10pm after traveling all day. that's why I hadn't had any food yet. It was not possible to have something to eat at the hotel, so I had to go into town that evening for dinner. The room is not as in the photo, it is an unpleasant room with furniture from the year 1800. The shower contained mold and the cup on the sink was full of old toothpaste residue. The steep hill is dangerous when it has rained. I almost fell twice because of the slippery conditions. the breakfast is cheap and lukewarm. the connection to wi-fi is bad. I had to travel back in the morning and it was not possible to have breakfast, as on arrival, I was not helped to get down from the mountain with my luggage. The service is disappointing... This 'resort' is certainly not worth 4 stars. I have read other reviews and I see that nothing is done about the complaints. the owner prefers to go against the feedback of his guests. please find another place to stay, this is not worth your money.

I’ve been to Parga a few times, and this hotel offers the perfect location for walking to the beach and the main town/harbour. Be prepared for the hill though—it was quite a shock at first, but we grew to love it as we enjoy a good hike. Parga is a hilly town, so expect some climbs, but it’s a great way to come back fitter! The room was lovely and the actual hotel looks even better than the images online. Just two weeks earlier, we stayed at a 5-star hotel in Lefkas, and I actually preferred the spaciousness at Enetiko and the power shower. The cleaners were fantastic, tidying up every day, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. While I wouldn’t call it a full 4-star, I’d give it a solid 3-plus rating. A few improvements could be made, like providing more food options at lunch. Breakfast is basic, so if you're after a full cooked meal, this might not be the place for you. We had our suitcases collected and dropped off. The owners also runs a restaurant by the harbour, which was probably one of the best meals we had during our stay. All in all, if you accept the hotel's hill for what it is, you’ll have a great time. The hillside location offers stunning views, but if you’re not into walking or aren’t in the best shape, you may want to consider renting a car or scooter. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy everything Parga has to offer!

I loved this hotel for many reasons, the junior suite (extra £58) was well worth the money, comfortable bed, beautiful views, good pool & plenty of beds. It’s a family run friendly Greek hotel. Yes it’s a steep hill so not for everyone but even my husband 2 months post knee replacement made the climb twice a day. The staff are very friendly and helpful, bringing luggage up & down which was a great help. Breakfast is OK, it has a basic selection but after a few days we opted for breakfast out on the way to the beach. I wouldn’t describe it as a spa. There is a hot tub beside the pool. I didn’t see the gym and certainly no mention of spa treatments. Massages readily available at the beach though. The location is good as o my a short walk to town, harbour and local beaches. Lots of water taxi from the harbour to Valtos beach (very similar to local) & Lichnos which was far nicer, quieter, easier to get in the ocean, nice restaurant ‘Coral’ for lunch

Like all other reviews “ITS THE HILL” and although I had read about this and thought we could handle it , it’s quite bad in 30 + degree heat, to top it off we then had another 2 flights of stairs to get to the room, we tried to only tackle the hill once a day however the hotels choice of food at lunch wasn’t very good, think there are better choices, wouldn’t choose to stay here again ,

We loved Parga, but Enetiko put a damper on our holiday and is somewhere we will not return or recommend for the below reasons in particular: The climb: We had read the reviews and expected the steep hill, but not the stairs following these. Even as a fit young couple, it was trying on our legs after a fortnight. It was slippy when it rained too, and completely dark at night as it was not illuminated until near the top. On arrival, the hotel brought our suitcases up in a truck, but this was not the case on departure or any other time, when we were left to our own devices. Payment issues: Every time we ordered a drink we checked we could pay by card and were told the machine was down but getting fixed so our room tab grew. We tried to pay multiple times during our fortnight stay, and on the penultimate day, we were told only cash would be accepted. I could see the card machine plugged in (per the new greek law for POS), but they refused to even try our card. I had to withdraw Euros and pay the ATM charge as we'd only brought enough to cover the tourist tax and tips. Bit suspect and especially annoying as we were led to believe otherwise. 4 stars? Eco?: I had high hopes for the hotel based on the images and star rating, but the facilities and little touches let it down e.g. the tap in the pool toilets did not work, there was no water on arrival, the bathrooms were very dark, etc. The rooms were nice enough and equipped with air con, but nothing special. I'm also unsure how the hotel could have been described as eco. Secretive: It also wasn't until the second week of our stay, when brand reps for a travel company came to visit, that we were told about the gym and the hot tub was uncovered. A fellow guest went in and noticed lots of dust and took a few snaps of the state so we stayed clear. At no point did I see anything that made me believe this was a resort and "spa". We didn't even know there was the option to get food at the hotel outside of breakfast as this was not advertised and the staff were not forthcoming - definitely not your typical Greek hospitality. Disappointing food: We booked B&B, but the standard "greek" breakfast was in fact cereal, cold meats and cheese, fruit, some variations of hot food heated by tea lights, shop bought croissants and cake, and stale bread. It was basic and uninspired to the point where we actually went elsewhere for breakfast a few times. I expected the option to order hot food, or even for the assortment to be adapted occasionally, but alas.

The staff are kind and welcoming, hotel rooms are lovely design, spacious and spotless, and the hotel is placed in a beautiful area with a stunning view from any room! Relaxing and homelike atmosphere, with great service and high quality all round. The price is 100% worth what you get for it and aside the walk up to the hotel I could not recommend it more (if help is needed with luggage they’re happy to offer) :)
