We’ve never had a worse hotel experience. We travel Italy a lot. We knew something was wrong upon driving up. Barely a 2 star hotel. Fake plaster in front. Parking wedged in tennis courts. Our ocean view opened to a petite patio facing train track. The front of our room was by the pool - that had hotel sponsored music blaring until after midnight, even on a Sunday on Aug 27 2023. We were supposed to stay 4 nights and our elderly traveling companions could not take one night. Bed brick hard. Coverlet was polyester and thin as a sheet - see photo. We booked thru ********** and will not do that again. There’s a reason the photos are positioned how they are - it’s not nice. The “restaurant “ was akin to a conference room and served one type of meal, kids running amuck, white lights blaring. Staff checking us in was nice and despite being uncomfortable and noisy the room was clean. Aircon did not worn in one room, not good in August. We left at 6am after the first night. The hotel charged us 4 nights for the one we stayed. ********* was useless to help. The front desk didn’t understand. And there was no one to talk to that had authority. I’ll put this review everywhere until the hotel refunds our 3 days that we did not stay. Do. Not. Stay. Here.

Main issue is lack of transportation and location. Only one free transport from hotel to Tropea. Taxi min 20 e and difficult to find. No way walking to Parghelia (nearest foodmarket). Waterbottles from the bar are more expensive than in Tropea. Only one (extra cost) transport in the evening to Tropea, but requires min 6 persons. You might have to use taxi several times/day. If you have a car, no problems.

We were based at this hotel for our first visit to Calabria and spent 6 nights here though we went on 3 trips. We loved the traditional style of the hotel and my wife made good use of the excellent pool. Our room was spacious with a good-sized terrace and the usual facilities expected from this type of hotel. The advertised evening entertainment never materialised (maybe seasonal), but we were happy enough to chat in the bar with the people on our trip. The hotel is slightly isolated and we were advised there is no nearby beach access, so effectively you had to use the shuttle bus to and from Tropea unless you wanted to stay within the hotel confines. Fortunately the shuttle was free, fairly regular and efficient. Breakfast offered a plentiful choice (particularly of cakes) and the evening meals met our high expectations, particularly as regards the exceptional pasta courses (each meal) and the fish dishes. With one exception, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Professionalità e cortesia hanno caratterizzato una vacanza in struttura pulita e con servizio ristorante sempre impeccabile. Per scelta non abbiamo sfruttato la piscina ma ci siamo appoggiati alla spiaggia convenzionata . Camere pulizia eccellente . Posizione ottima noi con vista mare . Unici suggerimenti da modificare il costo del bar piscina eccessivo ed il vino a pasto a nostro avviso non proprio al top. Consiglio a chi ha bambini con animazione molto attiva

Sono stato con mia moglie la settimana dopo ferragosto, stanza 324 con affaccio sul mare. Siamo stati benissimo: abbiamo trovato cortesia e disponibilità nel personale sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta, una cucina che dire TOP è poco, sempre attenta alle esigenze di mia moglie intollerante al lattosio, la stanza molto accogliente e pulita. La spiaggia (in realtà sono 3 spiagge adiacenti) è raggiungibile con navetta ed principalmente fatta di ciottoli. Non abbiamo trovato comodo il fatto di non aver assegnato sempre lo stesso ombrellone...quindi, "chi prima arriva, meglio alloggia"...la piscina per noi è stata una valida alternativa, sempre pulita. L'animazione è stata coinvolgente in giochi serali di gruppo senza mai essere invadente. Nel complesso la struttura è altamente consigliata, anche se mi sento di suggerirla più a famiglie che a coppie.

familiehotel voor italiaanse families. veel lawaai van kinderen. Om hier te logeren tijdens een groepsreis waar je de hele dag op uitstap bent is niet ideaal. Geprobeerd om even rustig aan het zwembad te liggen, in het zwembad te zwemmen, maar door de kinderen was dit moeilijk. ook tafelen in het restaurant was heel luidruchtig en de nachtrust liet ook te wensen over. Bedden niet comfortabel, eerste kamer geen deftig werkende airco, douchecel zeer klein (ik kon er niet in bewegen) en ook niet proper. WC was op kindermaat. wel andere kamer gekregen, maar de badkamer bleef even klein. Het eten werd koud geserveerd. ontbijtbuffet wel uitgebreid. Maar bijbetalen voor spek met eieren (5 euro). brood droog en zelfs hard. voor de rust moet je hier niet komen tijdens het seizoen.

descrivo questo hotel con una sola parola, MAGNIFICO. sono andata con la mia famiglia l’ultima settimana di agosto. abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza, senza tanto affollamento… per quanto riguarda i servizi davvero ottimi, cibo squisito (preferivo quello rispetto a quello di casa mia HAHAHA) camerieri gentilissimi, soprattutto una ragazza con gli occhiali e il codino di cui non ricordo il nome, ha servito il nostro tavolo per tutta la settimana ed é stata davvero genitilissima, fatele leggere questa recensione eravamo il tavolo 421, sappi che ci manchii. riguardo il mare E CHE PARLO A FARE! letteralmente i caraibi, le spiaggie un po’ piccoline e la strada per scendere a piedi ed arrivare a lido un po’ scomoda, ma non ha importanza. la piscina anche pulitissima e questo per me é una cosa molto importante poiché cerco sempre di stare attenta alla pulizia delle piscine pubbliche, ma su questa non ho nulla da dire a riguardo. non mi sono neanche annoiata perché ho conosciuto una ragazzina… molto probabilmente l’anno prossimo ritorneremo, perché siamo stati davvero benissimo! vi consiglio vivamente questo hotel, sia per coppie che famiglie ma fidatevi potete divertirvi anche da soli!

Abbiamo alloggiato presso l'Hotel Santa Lucia la prima settimana di settembre. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza. Cucina squisita con piatti generosi. Colazione dolce e salata Camerieri sorridenti e solleciti nel servizio al tavolo Organizzazione impeccabile in tutto Pulizia di tutta la struttura nei dettagli Gentilezza e disponibilità di tutto il personale Camera economy datata ma pulita con gradevole area esterna personale. Spiaggia convenzionata piccola ma con acqua bellissima e limpida. Necessarie scarpette da scoglio. Bar del lido molto carino con possibilità di stare al fresco di mattina e pomeriggio. Con DLT ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Possibilità di recarsi al mare ,distante pochi minuti dall'hotel ,con navetta messa a disposizione gratuitamente dalla struttura o con mezzo proprio senza difficoltà di parcheggio. Tutto molto apprezzato!!! Grazie!! Stanza 1 e 2
